Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Good to hear, I was curious what base pads would work with it. Please snap a couple pics, I am curious how it looks mounted
  2. I recently saw that Taran Tactical is selling an M&P magwell, but I can't find any pictures of it actually installed on a gun or end user reviews of it. Has any one tried this part out?
  3. The standard E2 is very grippy, and I was pleasantly surprised the first time I handled one. That said I like the aggressive one even more, and don't find it uncomfortable even during extended duration.
  4. I heard him say that on a recent interview as well. I went ahead and ordered an Erebus today. From the videos I've seen between the two, the Erebus appears to shoot quite a bit flatter. Also the comp on my STI DVC-P helps keep the nose down noticeably more than my DVC-L did, with factory ammo in the 135-142 power factor range, so I am a believer in comps for 9mm minor.
  5. I would have to agree with you, I don't NEED an upgrade and I doubt whatever I get will have any effect on my placings. Ultimately it is a want, just chasing a faster gun. I think I have talked myself towards the Erebus.
  6. The Erebus appears to be a very flat shooting pistol and is the most "apples to apples" comparison and upgrade to my DVC-P. It retains all the things I love about the DVC-P with the improved trigger and metal grip upgrade that I am looking for.
  7. Primarily open division 3 gun and some steel
  8. Thank you, I am leaning towards SV, but with them not having a single port comp set up available I am left hoping their ported set up gives similar results. Unfortunately I can't find anything as far as user reviews for this set up. I really like how the comp on the DVC-P keeps the nose down compared to my CZ TSO, so that's a feature I'd prefer to keep.
  9. The PT Honcho is on my radar as well. The modularity of their platform is a pretty strong selling point.
  10. I currently have a STI DVC-P and am considering changing to either an Atlas Erebus or a ported SVI with a slide mounted red dot. I am curious if the muzzle rise reduction of the ports on an SVI hybrid barrel would be comparable to the single port comps on the Erebus or the DVC-P. Whichever pistol I go with will be in 9mm Minor. Thanks for any insight. For reference, this is the style SVI I am referring to.
