Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Awesome, hopefully I’m around. I have a very interesting and changing schedule, but I’m hoping to hit up a as many matches as possible this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Hey sorry, never got a notification on this. I’m kind of in between Grand Rapids and Big rapids. I’m not always around though due to work, but feel free to get ahold of me or shoot me a pm and maybe we can meet up for a match or something if possible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I haven’t had any issues with the talons on any of my pistols. As long as you install them properly and use a heat gun on them they hold up really well actually, and for 20-ish bucks each are easily replaced or taken off, and if you don’t like it then you are only out 20 bucks. I’ve also stippled my own frames and it’s really not as hard as I thought it would be, I used some tips from OTD. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I apologize I was trying to reply to the thread about carry vs comp pistols. I don’t know how it ended up in this thread. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Competition: Glock 17 with a DeltaPoint pro or Glock 34 Work: Glock 17 Carry: Glock 19 or Dan Wesson CBOB (if I’m feeling fancy) No I’m not a Glock fanboy, they just happen to be what I shoot the most, and have the most time with. I love shooting my marauder, but it’s 9mm so that seems to be quite a disadvantage for uspsa, and am also a huge CZ fan, but find its a lot easier for me to get reps and practice in with my Glocks with work situation. Maybe someday I will have more time and funds.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Hahah, thanks that’s good to hear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I’ve lurked the forums for quite some time, and come to them for most of the answers to any questions I have, but figured maybe I would actually join and see if I can contribute at all. I have carried a gun for a living in one manner or another for almost all of my adult professional life in the Military and other, and love all aspects of shooting. I really enjoy long range shooting as well as pistol and carbine shooting, but most of it has been work and training related. I am looking to step it up and get serious about some competitions just to see how far I can take it, and of course have some fun. My only competition experience is from 3 uspsa matches while I was living in South Carolina, but I’m looking to actually register and get classed as soon as I get settled down in Michigan. I look forward to learning as much as I can from everyone here. Tyler Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
