I'm not sure it was one of the original Kimber's I used in IDPA matches. and one Springfield. both are worn significantly.

I do plan on shooting it in competition and I would like to limit the amount of wear, the coating is black nitride, currently I practice a lot of drawing on and off the range, I have a couple of guns that the finish is completely gone lol.

does lined kydex holster reduce wear on guns? I know kydex will wear most finishes after a lot of use, any sugestions? Thanks

lol I wonder why they stopped the advertisement, its not a vacuum, I don;t typical apply a lot of pressure, I'm left handed and its hard to find a lot of offerings in left hand.

I normally make all of my own competition holsters, but i have no experience with the sti frame. has anyone made their own holster using the gun? I'm concerned about the frame not sure how durable it may be in a press. I have made plenty of glock holster with no issues and of course the steel/alum frame guns aren't an issue either. thanks

very good point zzt, I looked at it the same way when I purchased the 1.5 group gun, now my performance is all on me. and at 25 yrd free hand it makes a difference stacking bullets is easier, do I still pull shots absolutely. but its fun trying to get the gun to perform like I know it can.

thanks for the info, I was wondering what the difference in gen 1 vs gen 2, that makes sense, and the tuning makes sense for mags with heavy use and dropping them. MBX seems to be the most popular without a doubt, do most use mags that lock the slide back or do they use comp mags? I have never liked mags that didnt lock the slide back but planned reloads it wouldnt make a lot of difference.

Thanks for the replies, I’m new to the 2011’s I have been reading that the mbx work flawlessly and the gram guts will correct sti issues. I have never really experienced many mag issues with any guns over the years, but it looks like the 2011 could be picky.

Thanks for the reply, I ordered a new spring today, I may have messed the original one up, removing and install so may times trying to figure it out.

I have a cz 97, while shooting this weekend the screw that holds the trigger bar lifting spring, back out and would not reset the trigger, after tightening the screw my double action trigger is awful now. any help or advice on how to install would be greatly appreciated, thanks

they are very accurate, is it worth it? I have one with the 1.5 guarantee and one without and both are good, but the 1.5 is more accurate.
