  1. The buffer I have now is 3 steel 2 tungsten. When I installed it I removed a pretty heavy weight from my bolt so I thought it may be okay. I was thinking of trying a lower power spring to see if it may be short stroking but I can’t find one. If they took the same one as the AR-15 buffer that would be good because those are in stock, but I don’t know that they are the same. JP has different sets for 9mm or 556.
  2. I do not have the short stroke. Do you think I have too heavy of a buffer now? Brownells doesn’t have the spring packs in stock. It just seems to dribble the empty casings out now rather than throw them hard.
  3. Hello all! This is my first post here so take it easy on me I have a Spike’s Recluse that I’m trying to get running right. I swapped a T3 buffer for a JP SCS enhanced gen2. I wanted to get rid of the spring noise on my ear. This rifle has a ported barrel to reduce velocity to subsonic and has a built in suppressor. After swapping the spring I get a failure to eject. I will still have an empty casing bouncing around while it tries to feed another round. After I swapped it I also notice the recoil increased a little, but also seemed to reduce barrel rise. I think that I may need a reduced powered spring, but I’m really unfamiliar with them so I’m asking the experts. Should I try a reduced power spring, and if so, where can I find one in stock? JP says they won’t ship to Colorado so that’s out. Thanks!
