Really appreciate the review. This is consistent with everything I have read about the man. I’ll be sending him an SPO1 in a few weeks, and potentially a Shadow 2 as well. I’ll be sure to follow up with my experience in this thread.
  3. Love the bogies as well. Hope they work out for you. After reading this thread, I may need to give the PD grips a try. Anyone have a head to head photo of the loks vs the pd palm swells? The patriot defense version look to be larger overall, particularly in the lower portion of the grip.
  4. Thanks for the welcome. I hope it isn’t in violation of the rules to state that I intend to pursue a very common animal with a tail of white. If this is unacceptable, I will gladly delete this post.
  5. Good to know. Thanks for pointing this out.

Hello, New guy here. I’ve read through several previous threads, but I wanted to reach out for any new opinions. I’m considering sending in my SPO1 for some trigger work. Everything I’ve read about CJ Maven in Arkansas has been positive. I’m just looking for any opinions on the following: 1. Any reason to not go with the Villain package? Planned use will be primarily a range toy. 2. How much additional improvement can be found in the reach reduction? 3. Anything else that I should consider, or anyone else I should look at for this service? Appreciate the insight. Thank you!
  8. Hello all! Perpetual lurker here who finally decided to join up and enter the fray. I grew up as a ranch kid in North Dakota and hunting and fishing were part of our daily life, so rifles and shotguns were something I grew very comfortable with. However, I didn’t have any handgun exposure at all. Fast forward a few decades and I finally have begun exploring the handgun world. I’ve explored a few platforms and found myself drawn to the CZ platform. I was fortunate enough to find a used cz shadow 2 with an optic cut and have added that to the stable of my SP01 and my Tanfoglio Hunter 10mm. At the moment, I am enjoying learning marksmanship at the local range and working on my skill and technique. I may expand to local matches as family and work time allow. I would also like to explore handgun hunting with the 10mm. So, that’s me. I look forward to continuing to learn, and hopefully at some point beginning to share some knowledge as well. Thanks for having a great forum!
