Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Well the part number above is a definite no go. The gas piston is much smaller. After a very informative conversation with an incredible customer rep it appears that the 1301 Tactical is kind of a stand alone platform. A bummer as I was hoping that I could use the 1301 for a few other purposes.. There's no loosing here as I still have a great shotgun and maybe next year I'll grab a competition to fill the void. Shoot straight!
  2. So I have a 1301 Tactical with the Optima HP choke style and I would like to add a 24" or longer barrel to the platform. It currently has an 18.5 barrel but I am looking at the A400 24" long 3" inch chamber (Part number 6C36111301000) for 3 gun and some occasional skeet. Can anybody confirm that this barrel will work or have another Beretta part number that works? There are a few that say the A400 has the same reciver length as the 1301 Tactical and accepts the A400 barrel. But I figured this is the place to ask for real information. 1 I know a 24" 1301 Competition barrel will not work due to the Comp having a longer receiver. Thanks!
  3. Thanks for the insight. I almost spit my coffee out when I looked the price up awhile back. But it is what it is. If I end up with reshaping them I'll finish them clean and Cerakote them before I put them back in. Good luck on the range!
  4. Since the last post on this topic was back on the Marine Corps birthday... I figured I'd ask if anyone has determined if the Beretta small safeties fit the box yet? Or if anyone is selling a safety that does? Semper Fi
  5. Results of the first shots at the 200 yard line. I expect myself to do much better the next time out. Ignore the load listing and gun type listed on the target. I grabbed a previously marked target. It was a 6.5 Creedmoor chambered HMR PRO fresh out of the box that made these groups.
  6. Thanks for the well wishes! So last week I got to the range and it was a very comfortable 15 degrees. Hahaha with the right gear it's not bad at all. Loaded a bunch of test loads for 2 Steel Challenge pieces. And fired a bunch of factory loads for a Bolt gun to start a baseline before I load my own. The cold got the best of the chronograph and rendered it all but useless. A bummer considering how many different loads I had worked up. Just under 500 actually. Here are a few pics of the day.
  7. Mass and thanks for the hello! Heading tomorrow or Thursday. I'll take picks. Loaded a ton of test rounds. Just started steel challenge matches and I want to try to find a load that works in both a PCC and pistol. If not I'll know what they like!
  8. Been lurking for a few years and decided to join up. So hello from a cold NE gunner.
