  1. I feel like they are very very close to the same as blue bullets. Coating on blues are a little more finished and polished. I weighed a few and they are all pretty well within spec. For the price difference for plinking, it's a no brainer. I haven't ran them through a Chrono though, so I couldn't tell you any fps differences or anything technical. Could try a small pack and see if you like them. Next month I am going to order another case of 9mm and try out their 45acp 230gr RN.
  2. I been using DG for a while now, swapped from blue bullets, and I really like them. 124gr RN shoot very well out of my pcc, Glock and Q5 match. Excited to try them on my Canik tp9 combat exec in the next couple of weeks
  3. Blue Bullets - Stoeger 5% for orders under 10k
  4. So would LCN be similar to coated RN from a data prospective?
  5. So I just got package of blue bullets 9mm 125gr RN. I was looking at hodgdon site for some general load data using HP-38 for plinking loads. Hodgdon data shows for FMJ 4.4-4.8gr and a OAL of 1.090. I know the length varies based on the gun you are shooting, I can adjust that. Is that powder min/max correct even though I'm using PC and not FMJ? I normally like to stay in the middle to account for powder drop variances. Is this correct in my assumption?
  6. Do they offer any discount codes?
  7. From what I can tell, Brazos brinell is 12, kingshooters are 21.
  8. I think I'll keep a spreadsheet of the most used bullets with quantities and price updated and post. Not sure if people really care, I personally like to see the numbers. Plus I'll try and keep track of any discount codes.
  9. Compiled a list of some of the brands people mentioned and did a quick cost with shipping, not tax, and discounts. Seems like bulk is the way to go "as it normally is" just come downs to almost personal preference and performance as the price difference for most are literally thousands of cents... Im sure you can get it even further with larger orders 5k+, but that is out of my price range as of now.
  10. I was reading the thread on Brazos bullets and seems like they are the cheapest on the market for coated, but also the softest and most issues with leading. I just purchased a 550b and will be loading a lot of 9mm in the next week or so. Wanted to see who had the best experience with coated bullet companies that is reasonable priced or any other that I don't have listed. Just based on looking, seems the average price per is around 7.2 - 8.1 cents per 1000 for 124/125gr RN coated. I've loaded 45acp from Berry's and I like those, but they are on the high end as far as price goes. Thanks! BBI Precision Summers RMR
