  1. I think you’re spot on, and going back through my videos I can see a lot of those errors in matches
  2. Do you think it’s because you started fixing the issues instead of just going fast ?
  3. Most weeks i dry fire everyday even if sometimes it is just 10 to 20 minutes. Past few months I have been so focused on chasing par times that i used a timer in every dry fire session. Listening to some old podcasts someone mentioned putting the timer away for a bit and just focus on what you are trying to achieve. I put my timer away and honestly dry fire has been a lot more enjoyable. I can focus on the techniques and skills i want to improve on instead of just trying to beat the buzzer. This is probably not new to most shooters but i figured i would share since it has helped me out a lot.
  4. I have 2 of them in G34 Gen 5s and while they are great triggers the reset is definitely my least favorite part of the trigger. Timney sends a red spring that you are supposed to use with aftermarket connectors that helps a little bit. I have a Zev connector and its a little better. Like anything, you can get used to it.
  5. If you’re not set on using the MOS plate, check out Forward controls design plate. I’ve even using one for a while and it’s held up great. Extremely tight fit and comes with the screws you need. About 10k rounds and no problems.
  6. I didn’t even know they sold a cerakoted version. I just picked up a shadow 2 and honestly the bling bling of the brass doesn’t appeal to me. I might check out the cerakoted ones, I’ve heard the grips are worth it.
  7. What powder and how much are you using with 165gr? Can you tell any difference vs 147?
  8. Did you use the red trigger return spring with your Timney? It helped a bit, nothing major but a little better than the stock silver spring it comes with. I honestly have no problem with the stock trigger with a minus connector, just figured I’d try something different and see how it goes. If it starts to give me reliability issues I’d definitely go back to stock right away. my firing pin broke this past weekend at about 10k rounds, gonna see if Glock will send me out a replacement
  9. I have the Glock tungsten uncaptured guide rod with 15lbs spring and it works great. The 13lb one causes the slide to be a bit out of battery sometimes so I stuck with the 15 one, can’t really tell much difference with 130pf ammo. if you get the glock store tungsten one make sure you get the extended length one for the 34.
  10. How are SROs holding up on these shadows ? Read a while back that shadows could be a little harder on optics than slides that don’t sit inside the frame.
  11. I’ll be honest, I’ve asked him to change my holster a few times, Sig to glock to sig, and he was ok with making notes on my account of the change. I’m sticking with my Glock but haven’t emailed or called to try to change again. Im just gonna sell the sig one if it shows up for whatever I paid. I ordered Dec 5th 2021. Im sure they’re great holsters but the lead time is definitely not correct. I’d think stopping new orders to catch up would be a better way of doing business.
  12. I use these on a 19x that was cut for an rmr. AMERIGLO GL-506 Tall Black... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QN89DY1?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share Black front and rear
  13. Update: So after a few thousand rounds I’ve had to switch back to a 15lb spring. The 13lb was sometimes not letting the slide go fully into battery. Enough to make me switch back, couldn’t really tell the difference honestly
  14. Are you using an after market connector ? If so, the red spring sent with the trigger might help.
  15. I’ve tried a few connectors, the minus and zev seem to work very well with the Timney trigger
  16. I did the same thing man, almost started to give it the AK mallet treatment till a buddy saved me last second lol
  17. Holosun 509T if you want an enclosed optic. The 508T is a solid option as well. Sage Dynamics on YouTube has good reviews of both.
  18. Welcome, this is a great website for a lot of info. I’d suggest going and watching a USPSA match too, you’ll get hooked
  19. Update: Got the CHPWS filler plate in for the legion, this one: https://chpws.com/product/sig-p226-p229-rx-series-pro-series-axg-scorpion-w-r1p-dpp-cut-w-rmr-holosun-holes-filler-plate-for-trijicon-rmr-sro-holosun-407c-507c-508c-508t/ I also ordered these low profile CHPWS screws that are meant to be used for the SIG filler plate, this one: https://chpws.com/product/sig-p320-6-40-lowprofile-head-screws-for-trijicon-rmr-sro/ I took some measurements to see the difference between the screws that come with the filler plate & the new low profile screws. I do like the longer screws so I tried them before putting vibratrite and cycled a bunch of rounds and seemed to work fine. I installed them properly and will be testing them this weekend. If i have any ejection issues I’ll go with the low profile shorter screw Hopefully this helps someone.
  20. I know it’s often said, for good reason, but I’ll probably wait 6-8 months before picking one up. For 399$ it fun for steel challenge
  21. Optics have definitely gotten a lot more durable in the last 2 years. For competition I believe the SRO is still the most durable. I’ve heard from shooting buddies that the rts v5 is very durable and so is the newer DPP.
  22. Eli_a

    gen 4 versus 5

The biggest difference that has mattered to me is the finger grooves. I really didn’t like them on the gen 4
  23. You might be correct. The only reason I thought 30 super carry is figured they can jam an extra 5 rounds in the 15 round XL mags
  24. So CHPWS just released some low profile screws for 320s cut for rmr. You can pick from RMR/SRO screws or Holosun screws. I ordered some along with a filler plate, once it gets here I’ll post an update if any trimming was necessary
