  1. This is gonna sound dumb but did you lock the slide back with the slide lock when putting the slide back on? They are picky about being locked back before you turn the takedown lever
  2. Yes DD bought the rights for the H9 platform when Hudson went out of business.
  3. Depends on the holster but probably not. The slide is slightly different and will cause problems with custom fit holsters.
  4. I'd recommend a 320 X5/Legion. Plenty of them come up for sale on the classifieds here. It's a full size and has a factory optics system. It's for sig dots but you can get plates for whatever optics you want pretty easily. If you decide you want a comp just grab a slide and threaded barrel and a comp Parker mountain machine then throw in on the x5 frame and you are good to go.
  5. Go for it. Can't hurt. Had a buddy hit a really good run and they denied it even after the appeal.
  6. Take the slide all the way back off and make sure the takedown lever is turned all the way to the open position when you put the slide back on. Make sure the slide is all the way in battery. I know sounds dumb but the 320 has some strange built in disconnect in the sear. that doesn't work maybe post a picture
  7. This is the biggest complaint/issue with the PPQ. Buy some canik 18 round mags they are slightly longer and don't cause that issue. The mags are completely functional I use the for carry optics without issues. They are also way more affordable than walther mags. https://akaicustomparts.com/product/carry-optics-no-pinchy-pinch-base-pad/
  8. This is 100% a manufacturing limitation. The tolerance of the fit between the slide and the frame is designed to be a little more forgiving because of the "modularity". When any frame is designed to potentially go with any slide you have to either give some on the tolerances or increase the quality of production which increase the price.
  9. To answer your question straight forward yes. Essentially what is happening when you use both eyes is they your mind merges what it sees in the 2 images and superimposed one over the other. Which is why if you put a piece of tape over the optic window you can still see the target and the dot. What will happen with you because you only have 1 working eye is that your mind will skip the process of merging the 2 images. Target focused shooting isn't a thing you need both eyes for as it's more of a mindset. You have to look through the window at the target and not focus on the dot. Which you should be able to so just fine as the optic has a window on it.
  10. Looking for some information on spring replacements for the sprinco recoil system for canik/walther. Sprinco doesn't give a weight from the factory all it says is "reduced power". I'm running 130pf ammo for USPSA and I want to buy some 1911 springs as spares/ for testing and wanted to know if anyone has tried it before.
  11. The only place I have seen them recently was private seller in the buy sell trade USPSA page on FB. Link to private page so you can request to join. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2217380931902499/?ref=share Link to mags https://m.facebook.com/groups/2217380931902499/permalink/2507433219563934/
  12. I'm not gonna say you MUST get new springs and followers but I can't attest to the capacity or reliability of the stock stuff. However I can tell you what the benefits of getting new ones will be. Grams followers and springs are reduced power (less coils) to allow for more bullets to fit in the tube. The follower is also reduced thickness, which most of the time is what you need to get an extra +1
  13. I have the same issues. As far as I can guess it has to do with the way the 320 FCU interaction is with the striker assembly.
  14. I definitely agree it is a bit much which is why I switched to a Q5 SF. I put lok brass grips on it which brought the bulk of the weight back into my hands and make it easy to control. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  15. I was referring to the guide rod Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  16. It definitely can be done with not very much work. Tungsten is insanely hard stuff so unless you are a machinist you probably won't be to trim it. If you think it will help you with transition speed then by all means go for it. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  17. I let a friend of mine run mine at a USPSA match last night with full power factor loads and the muzzle rise is basically non-existent. PMM definitely came up with a top notch idea. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  18. Sweet rig. I went with a Mac Defense custom slide and stipple for mine. With an Agency Arms trigger Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  19. Same. This is probably the best combination outside of getting a professional trigger job. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  20. I believe it's the opposite Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  21. Make sure that the guide rod isn't off center where it makes contact with the barrel. If it is even the slightest bit off it will do that. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  22. Tungsten guide rod, extended mag release, and grey guns competition trigger kit are the mods I ran but on the legion you can definitely run it straight stock and not see a significant performance loss. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  23. I had the same concern originally. The springs are very flexible you won't hurt them. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  24. Push this sliver plunger down and it will slide forward. You will have to pull pretty hard so don't feel like you are gonna break it Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  25. I would guess the feelings difference is because of the piece on the trigger bar that depressed the Striker Safety is contacting before it did on the overwatch trigger giving to the feelings of mechanical resistance (sliding) as opposed to only the springs on the Overwatch trigger. Overwatch trigger bar would likely contact the seir engagement before it started depressing the safety but the other ones do the opposite. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
