  1. I have on on my AR-15. Works great.
  2. I run this brake: M4-72 Severe-Duty® Compensator It moves a lot of air and the people shooting next to you will hate you.
  3. Smoother operating. You don't hear the grating that a normal buffer has. In the end, is it a meaningful comparison? Maybe, maybe not.
  4. Although not entirely budget minded, I sure like the JP Silent buffer: GEN 2 Silent Captured Spring for AR-10-type rifles
  5. Look at all the rich guys with their extra tool heads. Sucks to be poor. Where's that sarcasm font?
  6. I've been processing brass this same way but manually pulling off the brass at the swaging station. Use the FW Arms decapper in station 2. The above part would work nicely. The same thing is here if you have your own printer: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3746568
  7. This guy has a solution where he adds a spring loaded stabilizer: Link See if this might work.
  8. I just printed a cover for the hex head powder adjust: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2562915 Works great.
  9. The belling of the case stems from how deep the die is set. If you want less belling, then unscrew the die until the belling is right. Here's a video showing a guy adjusting the amount of belling in the case: Youtube
  10. In my state, I don't have a choice. If I wanted to get an optic, it needs to be milled.
  11. Corn cob for polishing, walnut for cleaning. Myself, I bought 15lbs ($15) worth off of Amazon. Don't know if the media comes in different sizes or not. CornCob
  12. Natchez is the place to go if you want to purchase more than 1k primers to offset the hazmat costs.
  13. If you're going to be processing brass, @HesedTechis right. Get a decapping die that will handle just decapping alone.
  14. A magnetic base would work. Attach the magnetic base to the case feed riser. MagneticBase You could also mount it to the bottom of your press.
  15. Lots of ways to make this happen. You can set up a proximity sensor near the crimper and it will count bullets as they pass by. Here's something that should work: Link Rex Roach put together a video of a proximity sensor with a bullet falling through a funnel: ProximitySensor
  16. Dillon has a newer case feed motor: https://www.dillonprecision.com/casefeeder-variable-speed-motor-upgrade-kit_8_6_26744.html I haven't tried the upgrade yet, but my case feeders will bog down at around 100 cases or so.
  17. The way the ratchet is designed on the 1050 means that you'll be going through a bunch of them. I think I've gone through 4 already. Better just to get rid of it until Dillon or the aftermarket designs something better.
  18. Dillon takes a long time to release anything. Look how long it took for them to release the 1100 even though it was just a refresh of the RL1050. If they were to do a 10 station press, I wouldn't expect it for the next two or three years. And in the end, they might not feel that they are losing market share to Mark7, so it's not worth the R&D dollars. Also, there's a Dillon rep regularly on the Discord reloading server if you want to talk with an insider directly.
  19. Titegroup comes in at #15 on that list. So would Alliant American Select (#16) be OK?
