  1. Corn cob for polishing and removing any left over lube. 15-30 minutes with a little NuFinish and they polish up just fine.
  2. I have an Odin Works barrel for my EPC. 16" barrel with rifling over the first 5.5 inches. It's super light and works for my state's rules. OdinWorks
  3. The LaRue MBTS-2S has worked great in my Aero EPC so far.
  4. Dillon has to go to the ends of the earth to find the parts that make up their machines. If it was made here, I'm sure it would be much cheaper to make and build it here.
  5. Have the 1050's. I have heard that the 1100 is smoother than the 1050's, but I'm not sure how much that would affect reloading at all. The 1100's are a little limited in rifle cartridge heights which goes up to 30-06 IIRC. Overall, can't beat it.
  6. You can make about 1,000 rounds an hour on a Dillon 1100 if you're properly set up and prepared. If you have more money than time, this won't save you money but will allow you to knock out what you're shooting fairly quickly.
  7. Well, my brother lives in WA and his magazine length is limited to 10 rounds. He does have a SW pistol with normal capacity. Otherwise, he's limited to what he can buy new.
  8. What worked for me is to grab the slide as hard as I could and then punch the handle with the web of your hand hard. I had this happen on a Glock and one of my handloads. Since then, I went through all my loads and verified that each one would pass through a hundo gauge or chamber gauge.
  9. Looking for an existing factory PCC or lower that can use S&W magazines from the Shield product line. Is there anything out there?
  10. If time is more important than money, than maybe you should also look at the Dillon 1050/1100 or the Rev7 line up. Frankfort Arsenal is putting out a 10 station press soon I hear. With the 1050/1100's, a new caliber will cost around $500 all in with a new tool head. With the 750's, the cost is half that I think.
  11. Have an Aero upper and lower EPC. Toolcraft bolt. Aero PCC buffer with an AR10 spring. Last round does not hold the bolt open. I think I can trim a coil or two until it locks back. The PCC so far is just for fun and not for competition. Any other areas to look at? Otherwise, the gun runs surprisingly well with factory Fiocci 115g and my hand loaded 147 grain RN bullets.
  12. Just got back from target practice and the MBT-2S performed flawlessly. It was in an Aero EPC upper and lower with a Toolcraft bolt. There was no LRBHO function, which is another problem.
  13. I vote for a progressive press in blue. There's a Dillon 750 for sale in the classifieds.
  14. It's a volumetric measurement and I'd be surprised if you're see that large of a change in volume. Dillon says it's "Accurate to within +/- .10 grains"
  15. Hodgdon says it's HS-6 is 'a fine spherical propellant' so it should meter well in the powder measure. Make sure you take 10 handle pulls before measuring anything to get the powder in the measure settled. After that, you should see more consistent results.
  16. Do you reload at all? If so, the RL1000 is pretty damn fast. There will be some time to understand all the steps, but it's a lot of fun to reload on a progressive especially with 8 stations. The RL1000 can't load the longer rifle cartridges IIRC, but for stuff like 9mm .223, and 308 it's great. To sell, I'd expect somewhere around $1400 to $1800 if everything is there.
  17. Pretty slick. Better start finding that money tree...
  18. 115's usually feel kinda snappy. 147's feel like bunny farts. If you want her to enjoy shooting, then I'd agree with @Nathanb and start with something heavier.
  19. Building one myself. Aero PCC upper, lower, parts kit, and buffer. Odin Works stock and superlight barrel. JP handguard. Toolcraft bolt. Since it's blowback, I'll have to figure out the buffer system. Full build is around $900.
  20. Lube the bolt and BCG well. This is my go to on adjusting the AGB: KB32_Agb
  21. I don't know if you're lightly lubing your brass, but it helps.
  22. Great news. Good for Mark7 and Dillon to have some more competition.
  23. The Frankfort Arsenal 10 station press might be pretty great if it ever comes out at the price that it has been listed for. It's been rumored for a long time.
