  1. My buddy took a stream light trl3 and put 9 size buck shot in it. It still works also, you can just barley see light coming out the front. Weights like 4-5 oz

in the grand scheme of things tho a light won’t make a difference so don’t get to caught up in it.

  2. I have a PT grip on my gun and it gets caked in sh*t throughout the season. I usually take a brass brush and go to town on it but I can’t keep up and is a pain. It never gets fully clean because it’s so gummed up.

if I get a ultrasonic cleaner, will this take care of the issue?  If so, does brand matter? I’ve seen harbor freight has a inexpensive one for sale.

  3. I’ll get my dead air can here soon and want to hunt white tail deer with it. (Yes, I can legally do this). Want to go subsonic but need help with a bullet design for maximum expansion for how fast the bullet is going.

I know I’m asking for a lot due to the speed of the bullet going to slow but my max range shot is 75 yards.

  4. Looks really cool and similar to the match I just went to. It was my first one and I had a light mounted to my rifle. They also had big generators with light similar to what the road crews use so you could still see a little bit. I loved my weapon mounted might to illuminate steel that was to far to see with the overhead lights so I would choose that instead. BUT the fault lines were also illuminated by the generator lights. Maybe if you couldn’t see the fault lines maybe? But then it might be a safety issue.

  5. I love destructive devices AKs. I did a ton of research on all the little nuances of some of the top level builders and they really put out a quality AK. The way they fit the trunnions and fit the barrel are fantastic. I can’t seem to find one in the right price range that I want but I’m still looking.

    check them out.

  6. How hard/reliable are these to make?

im an average joe without a milling machine or fancy tools. I’m an electrician. How hard is this and is it worth messing around with.

ive talked myself out of this only due to me convincing myself that it won’t last/be reliable.

what else do I need tool and parts wise?

Volquartsen all the way.  My Mark IV 22/45 Lite came with a 6 pound trigger.  After the VQ install it's now down to 1.7 pounds.  My backup gun also has the VQ Accurizing Kit and trigger is the same weight.

If you want, you can go to VQ and buy the kit, look on E-bay and find one for about $100 or go to Tandemkross and get the kit with their Victory Trigger if you like a flat face trigger.

On mine I stayed with the VQ trigger.

Does the flat trigger have over travel adjustments? I would love the VQ kit but with a flat trigger

  8. So I’m not sure if this is the correct place for this issue but I really need some help.

I filled out my form 1 so I can buy a 22 can from quite bore 11 days ago. My cover letter has half the barcode and no control number BUT it says I need to send in this along with my prints within 10 days.

The mutant that I talked to over at the ATF was ZERO help and told me I need to email “ask the experts”. Well, still no reply like I figured. I sent in my cover letter and my prints so I can be within the 10 day mark but my buddy said that it’s useless to do so because you don’t have your control number  yet.

I can’t be the only one with this scenario so any help out be great.

  9. I’ve seen the 1911 style blue gun that takes a detachable mag. Has anyone seen one for a 2011?

thinking about using a blue gun in the back yard to work on some stuff but want one that takes detachable mags.

  10. I have a couple spots left for the mason lane ADVANCED class.  Here is the email I’ve been sending to the shooters and if you’re interested, PM me.

Hey guys, if you are receiving this email then you’ve expressed interest in taking Mason Lanes pistol class. The class is a go and will be 4/17-4/18 and will be $500 dollars. I will need $250 dollars ASAP to reserve your spot. I know that reloading components and ammo are hard to come by now so I will honor any refunds leading up to 4/01/2021. Mason is saying to bring 1200 rounds to be safe for the entire class. I will be sending out more specifics as we get closer to the class date. The class will be held at New Holland Rifle and Pistol Club in Gap PA.

I have requested Mason to cover advanced movement skills as well as other advanced skills. This will not be a basic pistol class!

    What: Masons advanced pistol class

    When: 4/17-4/18 ($250 dollar payment

ASAP via check, MO or PayPal)
