  1. Are you using Everglades Plated or FMJ. I have run the Everglades 115 plated and like their performance. I wanted to try the 100s. After trying both I did not see much of a difference.
  2. I have 3 - two competitions and one PDI - 1000 rounds through one and no issues and the other is new. PDI is Ok - mine has an issue with a spring falling out when installing, but other than that pulls well. CMC PCC, Timney PCC and Rise 140 PCC work well several 1000 round through each and no hiccups
  3. 9mm are harder on triggers than AR-15, a specific trigger for 9mm is recommended many to choose from! Who knows on bump fire - haven't found cause.
  4. Yes, very different. CMC triggers make awesome triggers. But the drop in you have will not work in a Ruger PC carbine.
  5. I have not had a Lead Star but own several Glock mag 9MM rifles I have built. Have a full custom Ruger PCC, Tandemkross Stock TACCOM lightweight barrel, uses Glock mags. Great shooter but the trigger is less than the triggers I can put in an AR-9. Have had an AR-V and still have a NFA S-9 which uses Scorpion mags. The reliability has not been good. Have a MP-5 mag AR and it is more reliable than the Scorpion - your milage may vary! From my experience the Glock mags have been more reliable. Make sure you get an updated feed cone and ramp barrel. TACCOM or Macon Armory have great reputations. The barrels are very important to feeding. It also depends on what you will be using the gun for and your budget. You can also assemble your own, very rewarding and not to complex.
  6. Are you using factory ammo?
  7. what is your total weight of buffer and bolt?
  8. 115gr copper plated CamPro bullet, 3.2gr of Clean Shot - 108PF in TACCOM ULW barrel.
  9. I chronographed two loads with two different barrels using a new Garmin Chrono 115gn Campro plated RN, 3.2 Clean Shot, Rem SPP - in 10/16 TACCOM had a 117PF and in TACCOM ULW had a 108PF 124gn Everglade plated RN, 3.1 Clean Shot, Rem SPP - in 10/16 TACCOM had a 118PF and in TACCOM ULW had a 112PF I assumed they were both closer to 100PF I barrowed a friends Garmin - easy to use but nothing to compare its accuracy to.
  10. Thanks - I would run these in a Steel Challenge PCC with TACCOM barrel. So I can adjust the overall bolt and buffer weight to match the load for function, dot movement and recoil. I am experimenting with Clean Shot and have loaded a 115 RN Plated bullet at 3.2gn and 1.12OL and had success. At 15 yards they consistently hold a group of 5 to about 1 inch. I have a chrono but nowhere to test without RO hassle. Thanks
  11. So, I am looking for 100PF out 5-inch barrel - anyone have a favorite or suggestion? Thanks
  12. Anyone have one of these. Thoughts?
  13. has anyone else broken an ejector spring?
  14. Thanks - they make a free-standing stand base so not to have to pound into the ground. I was wondering how the "T" post hold up to getting shot and any ricochet issues?
  15. Does anyone have a set that uses the steel "T" post - do the work?
  16. Good to hear - Tim has always been a lot of help on issues for me on his product and other issues.
  17. read or watch blowback9 info - lots of help on ejection issues.
  18. Go read blowback9 information -it is a wealth of information on what works! I have built a dozen 9mm and wished I had read his info before I started. Now it just trying all the different accessories companies come out with to find the holy grail - LOL I am about to try his gentle recoil system which is supposed to lower recoil. We will see! It is too much fun tinkering with these!
  19. I run Everglades 115gn plated with 3.2gn of Clean Shot and Std & Mag Pistol Primers. I have several fussed neck vertebrae with a Ti plate, so I am also recoil sensitive. These work well and my shooting buddies say I am cheating due to them trying my PCCO in steel challenge and how low the recoil is - LOL I have also loaded Berry's 100gn with 3.5gn of CS with similar results. When I first started, I was using TG and switched to CS and it seems to run cleaner.
