This would be AWESOME. Not that I would gove up my custom 2011 limited gun but still.

As for the lonely FCU. I ended up snagging an X5 upper, then bought a bare legion grip in large, expensive tungsten stuff, GG trigger stuff, and now have a second very nice CO gun. I swear one day I'll stick with the same gun long enough to wear out something in it.

I emailed them and they confirmed it i signed up to their mailing list. I currently have a CZ TSO and i love it but my 320 just feels better in my hand and points more natural so i want to give it a go!

    Yes, considerably more.

I actually could see using an AXG module with a compact slide or maybe full size slide for competition over the TXG module. My P320 compacts are and have always been more accurate than my large P320s. The lockup between the slide and the barrels is much better and they are quicker to transition than the larger P320s. I have been considering cutting one of my TXG modules down to accommodate a Carry/compact slide combination and doing some testing. Shooting with a red dot negates the one big pro for the sight radius advantage longer slide guns had over shorter guns, as a red dot makes aiming both guns essentially the same. Not sure I would go with the Sig AXG module for competition as I have zero idea of its durability. Some ideas have been marinating around the head for a bit on this topic.

One issue running with a shorter slide with the P320 for competition is tuning the recoil assemblies. Maybe it’s a mute point if the rest of the setup worked?

Now, the question is do I cut down a perfectly good $250 grip module for said testing?

I wouldn't, so you are saying the lockup is better compacts then on an x5?

Last I heard it is not going to happen as it is a Sig/Germany product and they are tits up.

Cancelled or delayed? cause this makes me want to make a limited .40 and put my x5 on top.

Extra non-reciprocating weight, such as a heavier guide rod, will absolutely effect the muzzle deflection in both directions. Adding more non-reciprocating weight is usually associated with reduced upwards displacement as the slide bottoms out in the rearward position. But it also creates increased downward momentum the slide snaps forward.

The more weight that is displaced also means that there is more weight to control on the return. I am not surprised that you are experiencing a "Muzzle Dip" scenario as the slide snaps forward after putting in a heavier guide rod. You would have to grip the gun harder in order to offset the increased weight displacement. Or balance the non-reciprocating weight of the gun to your current grip pressure so that the muzzle doesn't dip low after the slide snaps forward.

A lighter recoil spring to could do the trick

You can control "take-up" with the AC trigger.

That's the main difference, as the GGI trigger has no provision to adjust take-up.

The feel is different as well, the wider trigger face and striped textured line help me line up my trigger finger better. The grey guns trigger and over travel bar were good, I just feel with the AC trigger it can be fine tuned that much more.

Adjust the pre-travel screw if your trigger isn't resetting. Remove slide to access it. Clean the screw, add thread locker, and adjust until the trigger resets.

Same thing happened to me. Blue loctite is your friend.

I like Lowsc3's theory, seems to make sense since it only happens with the first round.  It would be interesting to see if there's a difference between full mags and partially-loaded mags when the gun is cold.

I have the czc base pads and springs and I can load 21 but its to tight and I'd rather have the reliability and ease of reload. I usually also have a fourth mag I use for solely plus one on the make ready.

  8. Is it with a mag loaded to max capacity? Try taking one round out of the mag and see if that will solve it. Some times there is to much tension when you shove that absolute last round in the mag and the recoil spring may not have the power to overcome that friction entirely.

  9. I had this issue before when the gun was fairly new. Usually a push on the slide or rack of the slide and that was it. I'm roughly 5 k rounds now and it hasn't happened for a long time I chalked it up to some break in.
