No it does not maintain half cock or fully cocked, neither if I cycle the slide and that is the original slide I am having the problem with. it does not work with the original one after disassembled and cleaned the slide. it works correctly with the slide off and/or while the longer (2nd slide) is on. Of course safety off!!!

Hi, thank you for your videos on Youtube did really help to go around the Tanfoglio! I am an owner of a Tanfoglio and after following your videos and applying your suggestions and advices I have a problem with my gun. After installing the upper slider and loading the hammer does not stay in position neither 1st or 2nd. After trying my longer upper slide it works perfectly. Any ideas what could cause this problem to my sort upper slider after disassembly cleaning and reassembling. Thanks in advance for your answer.
