Thank you both for your input. Shred, I like your idea and I might just pursue that avenue. Mike

Hello all, I have recently acquired an Oehler 35P. It is missing the tripods and 4' bar. It has the 3 sensors, printer, and the skyscreens and arms. I set it up and am able to get a reading when using a flashlight across the sensors and the printer even prints it out. I already have a chrono (In fact, 2). So this is not something I really need. But I have it none the less 8). Called Oehler and they still have for purchase a tripod kit that includes the 2 tripods and the 4' bar to mount the sensors on. Question for you all. Is it worth buying the kit for 89 bucks to get this back to a complete working unit? Maybe try to sell off the parts I have instead? Respectfully, Mike

molson replied to aalbert's topic in Rifle - Technical
AAlbert, Try going to this website: https://web.archive.org/ Then type in: stiguns.com I just looked and there "Appears" to be information there concerning the rifle. Full disclosure. I looked at 2012 and navigated through the pages and found the rifle. I did not look further. Mike -
Good morning, I struggled a bit on this myself so several years ago I made a laminated instruction sheet I carry in my equipment bag. I have attached it.

Any USPSA shooters in the Warrensburg or Sedalia MO area?
molson replied to molson's topic in Travel, Locations, Ranges, etc.
Toolguy, Thank your for the information I will certainly also be going to Bates City BBQ based on your response. Cheers! Mike -
Hello all, I will be relocating from Wisconsin to the Warrensburg / Sedalia area of Missouri very soon. Up here, I am very active in USPSA matches with at least 5 clubs within a couple hours or so of my home town. What are the closest clubs that have monthly USPSA matches in this area? Anybody in the Warrensburg / Sedalia area that participates in these matches? Not really interested in 3 gun, sorry. While here, I would also be interested in hearing of any public gun ranges, maybe even private if they are not out of this world in cost, that are in a reasonable driving distance of these cities. Would be looking to do basic things like sighting in a handgun or rifle, basic target shooting, and ideally, some practice. Any out there within an hour? Look forward to moving down to Missouri! Cheers! Mike

Top 1/4 of 9mm brass broken and stuck in barrel
molson replied to Chapo's topic in General Gunsmithing
I just recently had a broken case myself. After trying all the suggestions here and even a few others, I took to a gunsmith with a 9mm chamber reamer and he had it out in 5 minutes. Worth it to me "IF" it happens in the future, to follow the path of groveling at his door again. Now my brass sorting process is even more strict! Mike -
Nope, not I. Patiently waiting. And I am not good at that. Mike

Roll sizing and using an undersized die 9 major brass
molson replied to looking4reloadingdeals's topic in 9mm/38 Caliber
I also have this exact setup. Rollsizer, range pickup 9mm, "U" die and have zero issues. 9 major or 9 minor. My take is this: die choices are a personal decision based on what you have or what you can get. The roll sizer does not affect die choice. The roll sizer takes out any oddness at the bottom 1/3 of the case and that is it. "U" die or not is a choice. Asking for advice is great and what we are hear for. I like the U die in my loading tools. To me, it gives me peace of mind I will have ZERO set back issues in my loaded ammo. Required? No. Your choice. Great choice to add? In my opinion, absolutely. I like have peace of mind when it comes to my reloaded ammo. Mike -
Just disappointing is all. Good news is I am not desperately low at this time. i can wait it out for awhile. I am trying to learn more patience in matters such as these Mike

Ordered mine last week and the post office lost em I keep getting a message they are still in transport, but I am quickly loosing hope. All my buds I told about them and ordered same day received theirs days ago. Mike Note I an not blaming Precision Delta.

For cross draw, read the article in the current USPSA magazine on page 10. Seems Troy is saying cross draw is not legal. Just how how I read it anyway. Mike

Precision Delta has 124 GR JHP's on their site. Also have 115 GR. Mike

Random Observations About Reloading 9mm on Dillon XL 750
molson replied to XrayDoc88's topic in 9mm/38 Caliber
Item number 9: Take the powder measure off leaving the die it is attached to on the tool head. Remove the expander insert. Problem solved cleaning the dies. Double Alpha has a 1 inch Dillon die wrench that is 1000 times better than the Dillon wrench. Mike -
Good Speedloader for 2011/double stack 1911?
molson replied to MuayThaiJJ's topic in 1911-style Pistols
Muay, What gen msgs are you using? Gen 2, at least in 9mm, need a minor modification to the Uplula to make it work better. Could be the same issue. Mike -
Mine has them. Purchased in March of this year. Mike

I load all 9mm brass with the exception of the stepped stuff and Extreme without issue. Many threads on 9mm stepped brass here. Should find it easily. Extreme is hit and miss on primer pockets retaining the primer. FC18 and 19 is most likely military. Remove the crimp and load it. Same for all military brass. This is how I have rolled my own for many years and only what I do. Others will come along and comment on your OAL and FC brass question. Will also give a list of good and bad brass and also say what I have said about loading all brass. Once you read all the opinions, you can form your own and move forward. Remember, use many sources to learn as well as your new experiences. This is the fun part of reloading. Mike

Crew chief, Does the blue bullet load you have meet your accuracy expectations in all firearms you intend to shoot them in? If yes, do not overthink this and just order the blues and get to loading. Mike

When I replied, I should have provided more info. Mine is a XDm 5.25. Of significance is I bought a plate and put a red dot on it. Now, my 14 year old granddaughter is shooting it and shot her first USPSA match last Saturday. She is so hooked that I am afraid this is going to get expensive . Mike

40,000 rounds throug mine and never had an issue that was not my fault. Failed to clean mags when dumped in sand. Mike

Up here in Wisconsin, seems like the cool kids are all using them. There are several that have really drank the Kool-aid and decked them out wit many of the available accessories. From my observations, they work fine. Better for the price. I am not one of the cool kids. I am using a converted 3 wheel running stroller. Mike

BV, You will get a dozen opinions on this, but I load them without a problem for 9major. I think most but not all case separations are those nasty stepped brass cases like older FM and others that can be found in numerous threads on this forum. My opinion is load them up and shoot them. Mike P.S. 9mm brass is so cheap, if you are truly concenered or have doubts, load them to minor or recycle them
