Johnnymazz replied to Squirrel45's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
No need for the powder check. You can see it in the case before bullet seating. Get a DAA light kit -

Dillion CP 2000 worth it ?
Johnnymazz replied to Broke82's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
My Cp2000 has a primer pocket check stage. It will pick up a ringer and stop the machine. That will reak havoc on the RL1100 press, Cause the new primer to explode -

Never had an issue with priming on the RL1100. I only use CCI primers. -
Dillion CP 2000 worth it ?
Johnnymazz replied to Broke82's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
I also have a dedicated Rl1100 just for priming. I prime all my brass first. Then powder and bullets on the 2nd pass. On the CP2000 I run it at 2100 CPH. Its quick. -
Dillion CP 2000 worth it ?
Johnnymazz replied to Broke82's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
Ive been using the CP2000 now for 3 years. Its worth the coin. I would suggest getting a Rollsizer decapper. Its nice to be able to decap the brass dirty then wet clean it before it hits the Dillon press. My casefeeder and press are nice and clean during reloading. -
Positive Feed Powder Baffle
Johnnymazz replied to ES13Raven's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
There's no need for that contraption. Ive never used any of the aftermarket gizmos in the last 30 years of reloading. Even now that all my machines are fully automated. -
Thats funny I have the same pistols also. They are all good just at different levels. Variety is nice to have in the gun safe. Enjoy bro

RL 1100 new press setup issues.
Johnnymazz replied to Cuz's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
I only run CCI primers through my automated machines. I polished the flat area years ago with sand paper, 1000 , 2000, then 3000 grit wet sand. Made a difference . -

Is Atlas worth the price difference over MPA?
Johnnymazz replied to P schütze's topic in 1911-style Pistols
I dont shoot competition. I just picked up an Atlas Titan and a JW4 Pit Viper this month. To ad to my collection of 2011 pistols. The Atlas is well built and worth the price -
If you order over 10,000 bullets you can get 10% off the cost. I do it all the time

I do own the stock pistol also. Verry pleased with it.

Talked to Stuart this week. CZ custom is building a pistol for me. Going to be the same as this one except with red goodies. No magwell.

Scored one last week. I finally got to use my extra mags that I bought in 2020 for the release. No complaints, pistol is great. Shooting my Blue bullets 115 grain at 1.100 COL. Pistol ran flawless right out of the box.

NP, Kevin is a stand up guy. Ive talked to him many times on FB. He will take care of any issues you have. If you get the Rollsizer be prepared its heavy as hell LOL
-
You dont want to do that. Brass should be cleaned before Rollsizing
