Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Meh, roll with the punches. Get bullets when you can, save enough for majors, practice when you have extra. Either that or switch to 9 major and snag brass from new guys that don't realize theres a shortage going on XD
  2. I believe it has more to do with the barrel link than the slide stop. Newer Czechmates and the like, as far as I know, have different barrel links and don’t break slide stops.
  3. I have never cleaned the barrels of any of my guns. I read somewhere that if you use powder coated bullets, you want to run FMJ every once in a while to clear it out but other than that, no cleaning. I do however still clean the feed ramp, around the chamber, and the compensator every once in a while.
  4. Is there any benefit to Major Pistol taking up more space in the case vs HS-6? I run 8.9gn HS-6 and the case is barely half full but I'm hitting 173PF.
  5. I've been through this before. Tried contacting whoever it was at Bullet Works and got no response. SVI makes a grip thats cut for a right side mag release for the same price as a new PT grip. Beyond that, there's not much. Ended up switching to CZ and everything is ambi so I got all I need now.
  6. I've had nothing but problems with the stock slide racker coming loose. Ended up getting the racker from Sebo Weapons and it has yet to give me a problem. I have it mounted on the right side but I'm a leftie.
  7. Yeah, that link you provided is the safety I'm talking about.
  8. I didn't previously see your cost restriction. IMO, the shadow 2 safety is expensive but very worth it. A cheaper option is to grind down the safety on the support hand side. I did that before I purchased the new safety.
  9. The shadow 2 safety fixed that for me. The paddle sits a bit higher and is flat on the support hand side. I bought mine from Sebo but I'm sure you can find them on CZ-USA.
  10. I'm not a 2011 guy but I'm pretty sure I've seen 9mm major guys use spacers in their mags. Not sure if those are required for 9mm majot or not.
  11. TY for the input guys. I'll look into the TS/TSO frame.
  12. Does anyone know where I could find a spare Czechmate frame? I want to sand mine down and put silicon carbide on it but want to make sure there's a spare somewhere out there in case I mess everything up. I'm fine with having to put a little work into it. I did some Googling and checked CZ-Usa's website and didn't find anything.
  13. Didn’t do anything special to fit it. Just used the drill press. Make sure the holes are straight (I think one of mine is crooked lol). I believe the hole on the left side closest to the muzzle goes all the way through the frame. I used that as a guide for the first hole. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. I attempted the same thing. Do you have an evil hand thumb rest to test out? I found it was a little too big for the gun (no room between the thumb rest and dot mount) and opted for the Fire4Effect thumb rest. Don’t know how much the milling would be as I did it myself.
