  18. I have always included a classifier when I MD major matches. I think that how you shoot in a state level match should count towards your classifier. Like others said above, this is a major match, so people will try harder on a classifier at this match than at a local match. We will be going with a higher round count classifier, so if you are looking to place in your division/class, you are going to want to shoot it well.
  19. Howdy All... The planning and logistics for the match are progressing well. We have posted a PDF with the match schedule and match info on the website. Go to - http://www.matchsignup.org/match/default.php?matchid=4 for your schedule and shooter briefing. Please contact me with any questions. Note that we will be closing online signup on 8-22. The match is filling up quickly, so if you want to shoot, but have not signed up, I would suggest getting signed up asap! If we have any open slots, we will accept walk ups on the day(s) of the match, but I do not know if there will be slots. Thanks,

  21. +1 on this point. There should be a specific procedure to calibrate the scale used to weigh a gun if weight is a requirement to be within a division. If a shooter uses a calibrated scale to check his/her gun before going to a major match, it should be a given that the gun is at the same weight at the major match. Basically, USPSA major matches should be consistent in all possible ways... That is the point of our very specific rulebook, right?
  22. +1 to what Brian and others said- You did what you can do to test the gun. At this point, don't think about it. Better yet, replace images of you shooting well and winning with the current images of a broken gun. If it breaks, it breaks. You did what you can do, so focus on the positives of what you have done to prepare to win. Power of positive thinking and all...
  23. I got one from Manny about a month ago once he got the left hand version in stock. I love it. It is the most secure race holster I have used. When the holster is locked, the gun is NOT coming out of the holster. When the holster is unlocked, it is still pretty secure. I was able to get it adjusted to my draw style and my draw times are the same as they were with a Safariland or CR Speed race holster. The only caveat is that depending on how you adjust the crossbar, you may want to take a demel or something to the excess bar length as it does stick out from the holster. I definitely recommend it. Its well made, very adjustable, and looks damn cool. It is going to be great for 3-gun too, given the retention capabilities.
