  1. Alot of people prefer to have a direct mount. Instead of have to use a plate. Another potential failure point with a plate on an optics ready gun. I'm not saying the all fail. I don't think CZ will ever offer the TS line in optics ready models. Not enough interest at this time.

Being a relatively new CZ owner with only 3 of them right now, I would also think the TS2 would make a great platform if it was offered in an Optic Ready version.  I have an Optic Ready Shadow 2 and Shadow 2 Compact and both have SRO's on them.  They work just fine for me.  I also purchased an older TSO that is a fantastic pistol, but of course is not an Optic Ready version which seems quite odd.  For now I just installed an EGW plate in place of the rear sight and it works great, but it would be much nicer with a true optic cut slide.  CZ is kind of missing the boat by not having a TS2 Optic Ready model.  I know I would buy one and make it my 4th CZ.  Perhaps they have an Optic Ready TS2 in the wings waiting to surprise us.

  3. I had Stonebridge Gun Works cut the slide for a 507 comp on my TS2. I love the way it shoots. The only trouble I have had is having to tune the mags.

  4. I tried to tune a couple of my magazines for my TS2. Was getting the same nose diving failures.  On the second round out of the magazines.  I may have done it wrong. It made nose dive on every round. Hand  cycling the rounds. I ended up pinching the front of the feed lips on the 2 mags I tried. Back to the .355 they started off as. I got them back to where the will hand cycle. Need to live fire test them yet.

  5. I loaded 135 gr xtreme plated with titegroup. 3.6 gr. @ 1.100 oal I was getting about 136 pf out of a cz tac sport. I have since reduced the powder charge to 3.4gr. I would like to get closer to 130 pf,if accuracy does not fall off. I have not shot them through the chronograph to check the speed. Accuracy seems to be good. I have some brass monkey 137 gr bullets. Loaded with 3.6 gr of titgroup they where 138 pf. I am planning on switching to sport pistol to find a load with those bullets.

That is an impressively low cut. Looks even lower than the former Fire-4-Effect system. Wonder what this would be like on a SP-01 Shadow.

Unfortunately the slide on the sp-01 is too narrow for the rmr bolt pattern.  They require a plate to use them.

The slide wasnt too narrow for the 507 comp screw pattern? got any pics of the slide without the optic? Was considering one day doing the TSO with a direct mill, but on the fence about this...

The slide is wide enough for the RMR pattern. No picture of the slide cut without the optic.

  8. Thanks for the replies. I will try either use Henning pads or cz custom. They seem to be the easiest to remove for cleaning. I' ve had good luck with grams and czc springs and followers with my limited gun.

  9. I have a tso .40 I have used in limited. I'm thinking of trying limited optics using a tac sport. I was wondering what capacity one could get with 9mm using factory mag tubes and 140mm base pads with grams springs and followers. Is 24 rds reloadable possible? I see the mbx mags say 23+1. So can you get 24 reloadable with those? Thanks

I put a 507c on my 627 with an Allchin mount. I don't know if a 510 is the same as a 507. I ended up having to mill the bottom of the mount on a 1 degree angle with the front higher than the rear, because the 507 dot is angled down 1 degree for semi auto pistols where the barrel is pointing down 1 degree when in battery, and level when the slide is open.

I couldn't sight in the elevation until I did that. One degree doesn't seem like much, but it is 15 inches at 25 yards and 30 inches at 50 yards. The Allchin mount is a good quality product. This is not the fault of the mount. The mount is made for dots that are calibrated for a zero degree barrel, not an angled down towards the front barrel.

I had the same issue I had a holosun on my 627.
