  1. I think you have an old one. There’s no limit to capacity. Revolvers with a capacity 7 or greater than cannot qualify for major scoring. Appendix D5 of the Jan ‘24 rule book.
  2. It’s official. They’re sending out a survey if we want optics in Revo.
  3. -A7 kicked off the BoD -Sherwin and Bruce to fill 2 vacant AD slots. -Spent $5,000 on polygraphing the board last month -Filled a number of committees with the last remnants of the board. -USPSA got its name back. -No Revo talk
  4. It’s no big deal you can always write an email to your area director to let your opinion known. Oh wait… Snide comment aside, I don’t like the idea of dots. I understand that as the youngest Revo shooter at 55, my eyes haven’t gone yet. But I think irons are more true to what I think the point of the division is: mastery of gun handling skills. Regardless, if dots are allowed it’ll kill ICORE Limited me thinks.
  5. MoJo announced he’s not doing pins anymore.
  6. I can’t think of an aftermarket hammer that doesn’t do that. Power custom, Apex, Rev-Up, TKC. Agreed; I’d say I should get a lottery ticket then but the real lottery tickets are 1.) it not breaking stage one at the IRC and 2.) having a buddy with a spare.
  7. It’s a 66-8. It’s 17-4 stainless steel. It’s probably got over 100,000 dry trigger pulls on all these parts. I wouldn’t worry about it. You shouldn’t it’s an old wives’ tale that you shouldn’t dry fire a revo. I just needed a clickbait title to draw you in to see my bad (possibly good?) luck.
  8. …yeah, ‘cause that would be the worst thing that could break right before your major match. Thankfully, a friend let me take one of his apex hammers outta his gun after calling every gun store in a 5 hour radius and Apex said they had no way to overnight anything. I don’t wanna restart the ol’ debate of the effects of dry firing a Revo but I would like to point out the firing pin lasted longer than the hammer.
  9. All, I don't have any cool videos to show but I did want to hype up the Rocky Mountain Regional. Last year I drove 1700 miles to attend on a lark, I enjoyed it so much that I did the same trip again and I was not disappointed. Nice stages, smoothly run, bafflingly ample prize table, nice range, etc. In 2024, if you're on the fence it going to it let this be your push.
  10. For crying out loud. Just lost pinnacle. Very few “gunsmiths” now-a-days.
  11. Mojo Custom does them as well. Contact via FB.
  12. No problem. And it’s not you the Enos search can be very lacking.
  13. I load 160 gr at 1.175” but I use a special funnel to get the 358 bullets in easy. https://uniquetek.com/shop/ols/products/9mm38-htc-powder-funnel
  14. English is my first language so I don’t see a problem. But if you have a suggestion to make the rules clearer please fill out the form on page 19 and send it to the rules director. To answer your question. If it has a comp, port and/or a sight it’s in open division. No matter who installed the comp, port(s) and/or sight.
  15. I’m the regional series director and I’ve heard nothing about this. So…
  16. I reload with weak hand comp 3’s. Send me a PM with your cell phone number. I can send you some videos on how to do it.
  17. I use 4.4 gr, same weight (.358) and COAL to get 132 pf.
  18. What Toolguy said but you can’t mix 9mm headstamps. I’d say that most 929 issues come from people not setting up brass/moons properly. Federal and .040 moons are popular but I’m on the “WIN” 0.037 wagon. No starline 9mm. Starline 38 SC is a-okay. My 9mm brass gets worked more with my .358 bullets but is far cheaper to replace. I shoot a lot and it’s much cheaper to have 10 k 9mm WIN brass than 10k SC. No one lost because they shot 9mm instead of SC, no one one because of it either.
  19. I’ll send you videos of me reloading. How big are your hands? Mine are too small to reach through the frame without slow down. The problem isn’t the brass ejecting. It’s any unshot rounds. If you’re going fast enough and don’t rotate enough they’ll go right back in the gun. I also wouldn’t model too much off of 2021 IRC Jerry. He had a snub and if I recall it was a short rod.
  20. It might be a gimmick but I love the AMG timers since they load the splits into PractiScore. Let’s you know what you’re really doing in a match. Also, thinking about how slow reloads or shooting a stage doesn’t really matter, the timer does. The “slowest” stages I shot nats and the IRC were the fastest ones.
  21. That’s the one, I didn’t know what job title to use for someone who has made a prosthetic cow leg.
  22. Possible with an 8 shot but you’d need some real 6-shot friendly stages to pull it off with classic. But a fine goal to have. Are you the Vet ‘tech’ Jason?
  23. The man’s trying to shoot Classic, get outta here with that moon clip nonsense. But joking aside, yes, you can get the cylinder cut for 38/357 moons no problem.
  24. No. IMO the only USPSA major gun should be a 625 (I mean you’re a fool if you don’t shoot 8s but there’s dozens of threads debating that ol’ chestnut). But, for the sake of egging you on and getting more classic shooters: Major is no issue for a 4 inch. Just ask my model 66. And if you get a 3 inch you can get that sweet, sweet recognition for shooting snubby in ICORE matches. Sounds like you should save your Pennie’s and get one of those Dan Wesson kits.
