Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I have the newer black bar. I will check it for groves.
  2. Anyone have issues with powder getting under the shell plate on a dillon 550C? My powder is WSF ball powder. I've got the dilloin thicker powder bar spacer, I've put a small rubber ban on the powder funnel to get the powder bar back quicker, I even pause on the upstroke to give the powder a chance to make sure it falls into the case (9mm) but nothing has worked After about 400 rounds the shell plate starts to stick due to the powder under neither. Extremely frustrating. Any suggestions
  3. Sketchpad Make is no longer supported and there is a kind of hokey way I've found to download load the Big prop file. However I still cannot get it to work. Does anyone know if Sketchup make works on Windows 11? I'm afraid that might be my problem. Thanks
  4. I spoke with Stuart and CZ does dot do mill work. He directed me to CZ Custom or Cajun Gunworks.
  5. Perfect, thank you. I will let you know of how it goes.
  6. The post above mentioned that CZ will mill the slide on a shadow 2 for an optic for 200.00. Can someone tell me who to contact at CZ or who I make contact with.
  7. So after reading all these comments I'm not sure where you would fall shooting single stack with optics i.e red dot. Would you fall in CO or Open? It looks like open but I can't tell for sure as I'm new to the whole USPSA shooting.
  8. I know this is an old topic and maybe you are no longer having the issue. Try using Maguire's wax/wax combo for you soap. That fixed most of the issues for me.
  9. Interesting, never thought of doing a combination of both. I don't want to sidetrack the original inquiry but how much of a rinse do you do the second time after the soap/wax combo.
  10. I can't answer your question on the power factor but one other suggestion,. In your wet tumbler did you try using soap that is a soap wax combination for example meguiar's Car Wash Wax.. I had the same issue on my 550, I switched to McGuire's combination wash wax and it took care of the issue. Just a thought I wanted to pass along if it works it would solve your issue of the clumping or your concern of the lube in the case.
  11. Could be, I was using Dawn and lemi shine and they were spotless however I had terrible sticking on my powder funnel. I switched to lemi shine with Armor All soap/wax and now the sticking has gone but some of the spots have appeared. I don't particularly care for it but I will take the spots over the sticking. Once the Armor All is gone I will try another type of soap/wax I guess.
  12. I'm not sure what you mean by "It works on guns". I loaded another 500 rounds of 9mm after tumbling with car soap/wax combination and it works great. I had a couple that "weren't smooth" but nothing that I would classify as sticking where you had to reallyou pull the handle to "break it free". I think it works great and I don't use any lube once they are cleaned. My only issue is I have some spotting that I'm trying to figure a out how to get rid of. It rubs off so I'm not sure if it's residual soap, wax or water spots. You should try the car soap/wax combo.
  13. Formula, I like formulas. Thanks for the info and I will give that a try. Dillon I'm afraid was off base with me on this one also.
