[135gr or heavier hp recommendations]

In my Beretta 92FS I use 115 mostly. But I have shot 147s and it hit a little harder then 115. But not to bad.

To make power factor I use 147 Blue Bullets. Use less powder then 135. I’m testing 160gr bullets  from Revolver Supply today to see how it feels.

Looking to get new Moonclips for my SW 929 9mm. So I’m looking at TK custom or Revolver Supply Moonclips. Is the a big difference between the two?

One thing great about rim fire practice is that if you are struggling with weak hand strong hand it great use  to work on mechanics and get some confidence. Plus it does not hurt the pocket book as much.

Do you feel that VV N320 burns cleaner then other powders? To me TG was very dirty and HP38 is not as dirty.

Be very careful of WST it is inverse temperature sensitive, it gets slower the hotter it is.  A buddy at the MW ICORE Regional went way below PF due to it.  He swore it made 800 f/s+ at home and the temps were upper '90's match day.  His readings were 587 to 740.  He needed 770 f/s to make it.

Sorry can’t download the picture. Talk to TK and they said to send it in and they will machine it to fit. Crazy!

[TK Hammer SW 929 question.]

Has anyone bought a TK hammer and when I install it I can’t tighten the side plate. If I tighten the side plate I can’t pull the trigger and if I can get the trigger to pull the hammer and trigger completely lock up.

MWP it’s my bad. I shoot a Beretta  in production for Steel and USPSA but I’m going to shoot Revolver in Steel and Icore. Just really enjoy Wheel Guns. I shoot a SW617 in RimFire optic for Steel Challenge.

If you are, serious props. I did it once, at the East Coast Steel Championships. Shot a 929 from an IDPA legal 4” N frame holster. It was hilarious, draw was a quarter second slower- which is quite a bit for me. 

 

If not, I think the DAA Alpha X is the holster to get if you only want one holster and shoot many different revolvers. If you only shoot 1 barrel profile on a revolver, the Hogue holster is the one you want.

Looking to get a Holster for my SW 929. I shoot mostly Steel Challenge in production class so Im going to shoot only revolver in both Steel Challenge and ICORE.  I've been looking at Holsters so I would like to get more info,  pros and cons from guys that use them or if there other options.

I just bought a SW929 to shoot ICORE. I don’t have a chrono at this time so what’s a good load,  OAL?

I use HP 38 at 3.5 and TG at 3.2 powders,  SNS bullets for my production gun. I’m getting some 147gn Blue bullets in today. 

 

I see some guys use range brass and some only use Winchester . Is that a big deal?
