  1. We have a match coming up on January 20th in Lodi, 25 miles from Madison. https://practiscore.com/wgc-wi-uspsa-monthly-match-20-january-2023/register Come shoot at our club.
  2. Call SVI. I had a similar problem on a 9 major gun. Right around the same round count. Extractor was broken. I got a new breech face and extractor.
  3. I agree. Its over for the org. The only question now is what can/will be salvaged. As an observation. I have served on multiple boards, and worked with and for non profits. When financial data is being purposely concealed there is almost certainly embezzlement or other serious issues.
  4. Hypocrisy destroys institutions. If YML was de certified for inappropriate horse play at a major match, Troy needs to get the boot.
  5. His six figure salary is supported by our volunteer efforts. PCSL is looking better and better every day.
  6. Not only that but people making six figure salaries were unable to ensure basic corporate compliance. Think about that...
  7. I think USPSA in its current form is done. The mismanagement is so severe that the org is probably beyond saving. I would not be surprised if some of the current board members/employees end up doing time for fraud. The sport will be fine. The rule set will live on, some other entity will by buy it and keep going.
  8. A locap dot division is what we need. I though that making L10 an optics division was a great idea.
  9. YML was an RO for a stage I shot at a larger match. He was curtious and exceptionally professional.
  10. If anyone from the org is reading these posts. This looks very very bad for the .org
  11. They switched. I just had an SVI gun come back to me from the factory with blue grease in it, SVI said its lucas. They used to ship guns out with red grease (red and tacky) in them. Its different from the blue oil, they include.
  12. Grease is Lucas that's what Brandon told me.
  13. So long term, assuming USPSA does't go bankrupt in the near future. What should happen. Optics will dominate, and I think in the next 5-10 year irons will be a thing of the past. Should LO have major/minor scoring and become what limited is today for iron sights? Just curious what you think. You make a good case for having a striker DA/SA divisions separate from SAO.
  14. I was being sarcastic about G19. If LO is driven by the perceived need to include staccato and springfield 2011s in a competitive division; why not just include them in carry optics, under the same production gun rules list as everything else. Do you think if that happens 2011s will dominate the division? I think we have way too many divisions, and it takes away from the sport. Section\area match performance should count for more in the classification system. With the current rules, every new division we add makes a match bump that much harder to attain.
  15. That is a very reasonable perspective. I can see why CO should stay as is. The limited optics debate I think is largely because of "production" grade 2011s coming to market, and the sport asking where do they belong? The above begs a question, why should all guns be competitive? The Glock 19 is probably the most carried gun in the US, (I carry one) I don't think its in any way competitive in any division. Should we have a Glock 19 division to accommodate me shooting my carry gun at the nats.... etc.
  16. If I understand you correctly, what you are saying is that we need a division(s) that explicitly forbid SAO guns?
  17. If we only look at hardware. Have you seen some of the Shadows that folks are running for CO these days. Thumb rest like an open gun, brass grips, weight pushing 50 oz. Same for the p320 with the tungsten frame. Yet I see plenty of glocks and walthers being shot in CO, both are very competitive guns in competent hands. This game is a hobby for most and it will always have the hardware arms race element in it.
  18. There are way to many divisions as is. The "gamer gun" things is a complete red herring, everything gets tricked out even production guns. As a sport we should be trying to eliminate and condense divisions. The idea I have been pitching is having just 5 divisions. 1) Low cap irons (10round minor/8round major). 2) Low cap optics (10round minor/8round major) optic required, slide ride or frame, no comps. 3) High cap irons (140 mm mags) major minor scoring hardware rues as we have them now. 4) High cap optics (140 mm mags) minor only slide mounted optics required same hardware rules as 3 (weight limit should be considered). 5) Open (same as now). This would simplify matches, give every gun a division, get rid of the dumb (and dangerous) rule about SA/DA guns starting with hammer down. Possibly add production that is Identical to IPSC rules.
  19. With this new interpretation: On the "can you count classifier" can I shoot 5 on T1, 4 On T2 re-load and shoot 1 on T2? Can I draw, reload, and then shoot 5 and 5? Asking for a friend.
  20. That looks great. Who did the slide milling on that 1911?
  21. Open build. DLC order 05/07/21 completed 06/03/22. Was originally quoted 8-10 month.
  22. Ask the builder for start load reccomendation?
  23. Ordered my open gun from infinity May 5th 2021. Picked up from FFL June 2nd. Just a hair short of 13 month.
  24. With much respect for you. I don't think the above should be true at all. The feed angle and cartridge length specs needed to run 9mm should all be constant and know for the 1911/2011 platform. If parts are in spec things should work right out of the box. Having to individually tune parts for a specific gun would indicate out of spec parts are present? I have run .40 MBX mags in 4 different 2011's from 3 different builders and they have never had a feed issue with either long or factory length ammo. Why would 9mm be different, especially if loaded to the builder specified length.
  25. Select 9x21, and tell then 9 major in the comments.
