I didn't want to buy a legion if I didn't have to. I already did a trigger job in my original x5 and it's better than the legion trigger in my opinion. I've heard mixed reports on Zev. A friend had the OZ9 and it had catastrophic failure.
This is exactly why I didn’t want an adapter plate. I want the dot as low as possible. What iron sights did you get for the octane x5 with your sro? Can you use them effectively as a backup if needed?
I have the original X5. Wondered if anyone had tried the Zev option vs purchasing a legion. I’d really like to mount an SRO on it but I’m limited to just the Romeo. Looking for opinions on the slide. How well does it perform etc.
I used the screws that came with the SRO and cut them down to .4035 per CZ Customs recommendation. This was for the optic plate made by CZC and mounted on an A01-LD. Worked great. I haven't had time to test fire it yet. But everything fit together very well. Loctite applied and I'll test whenever we're not in an ice age.
I’m in the same situation and no one around Nashville has any blue label in stock. I hope you’re able to find what you’re looking for. I’d like a Glock 45 MOS. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've installed three. including one in a shield. They all worked fine for me and believe me, I'm no pro. I just watch Youtube videos and do as I'm told. I will say they can be a pain but if you spend enough time on it, they come out very nice.
All I can say is my package got lost by usps and he sent me another one for free. When the lost one finally showed up, he didn’t even want me to pay him for it even though he sent me a second on his own dime. No idea why you all had a bad experience. Great management. Great product. Great service.
Both are great guns. I prefer the trigger on my X5 (non legion) since installing a gray guns trigger. I also feel like the X5 handles recoil better. I upgraded to the Tungsten grip module but I haven’t shot it as much as I did with the original grip. From what I can tell it handles recoil even better now.
I’d definitely stay with 9mm and get the 34. I like having all of my competition guns the same caliber. Makes reloading easier and also keeps costs down which is a big deal right now for sure.
I remember switching from Glock to a Sig X5. Then I put the legion grip module on it. Next I did the Gray Guns trigger job. I really love the X5 compared to my old Glock
