I figured it out without the lube. Thanks for reading through the thread saying I didn’t want to lube. You were a great help. Laugh. Believe me, nothing I have is cheap. Exactly what the topic states. Sticking on downstroke on powder dispenser. I’m assuming it’s from the slight bell for the bullet application: I’ve tried more or less, but if I do none, bullets hard to seat and I have to feed it all the way up the seat die. Thoughts? Where is this? Link please? Everywhere I’ve looked 1000 pcs of processed brass costs 100+ bucks. I dont mind the process as i as I really enjoy this as a side hobby. Once I decrimp the brass it’s done for good.

Just get the changeover kit for 223/556. much cheaper than buying another press. I buy bulk range brass. Wet tumble, dry in oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes. then I size and decap and trim. Wash again and then start reloading

1 part lanolin oil to 5 parts 99% isopropyl alcohol. Cheap and better than any product I’ve tried so far!

Why not purchased a spare tool head for the 650 for 223/556? I also have a tool head with sizing die and the RT1500 Dillon trimmerand can process 600 pcs of brass an hour. I wet tumble too. Love the consistency with the Dillon RT1500

What’s your thoughts on this guys? I use an RCBS prep station with a decrimping attachment but after 100 or so pieces, my hands start to cramp up. I have about 70k worth to do of 223. I've heard of people using a number two Phillips drill bit on a drill. Using the Lyman with a drill, and tons of others. I need FAST and EFFICIENT! Go!

I forgot to put my linkage arm on my Dillon 650 to my powder dispenser and loaded 22 dummies before I caught myself...

Hello everyone. My name is Mike and I live in Washington State. Small town north of Vancouver in the middle of the woods! I have been an avid hunter since I took my hunters safety 20 years ago. I just got into reloading my own ammo. Much cheaper for the amounts I shoot. Currently I just use an a single stage RCBS but a Dillon xl650 is in my sights! I juat registered a firearm business with the state and I’m just waiting patiently for my license from the ATF for my FFL 1! Excited to be here! Thank you!

Seems excessive? 150-170 for 20 minutes and my cases are completely dry. To each their own tho! Would definitely save you 70 minutes and some electricity!

I use the Franklin wet tumbler. I do use the pins with a dash of dawn and a tablespoon of lemi shine. Seriously I know the pins are a pain but the insides of my cases look just like the outside. To dry dry them I put them in the oven at 150 degrees for 20 minutes on a cookie sheet. Dry to the bone and ready to go.
