Is the code still valid?

So https://www.henningshop.com/ announced yesterday that he made a basepad that has a skirt on it that will prevent the over insertion. He said you could shoot prone rested if you like. Its still Carry Optic legal ect . He said it will be ready to ship over the weekend. You can read the comment section on his insta page. These are the basepads I probably would have bought anyway. In Addition, somebody on the comment section said that Canik is working on a replacement mag release to fix this issue. My gun has been at Canik for probably 2 months now. Last time I spoke with them he said I was getting a new gun. We will see.

So I emailed them today. Now they are saying i'm getting a new firearm but only time will tell. The email was not very detailed.

Shooters world Clean Shot for 124 Grain
stephenmcrna replied to stephenmcrna's topic in 9mm/38 Caliber
Awesome. Thanks Yeah thats right where I want it Appreciate the help -
Thank you for this info. I'm starting to get annoyed especially since a well known GM recently got a new barrel super quick and posted online. I'm about to ask for the gun back so I can get the barrel reamed and try that.
-
Is anyone shooting clean shot with 124 grain coated bullets. I have a shadow 2.
-
I sent my steel frame in. They said I need a new barrel and are waiting on parts. I'm at about 6 weeks now.
-
Damn. Oh well.
-
My steel frame is at Canik as well for same issues. Im not sure I expect them to do anything different. I will report when I get it back. My Freind has a chrome and a black. Only the chrome runs reliably. I have a black. I think there might be a thin layer of coating on black making the chamber tighter. Not sure

Keep an eye on Carey concealment. They developed a competition holster about to be released with cool feature. Brantley Meriam has been running it for months

Oh really. Would you say that’s a good thing ? I’m really only familiar with Dillon but want to upgrade -
Progressive Press Wishes

Anybody familiar with history of mark 7? I’m curious when it will be “safe” to buy the genesys. I’m sure there will be some kinks to work out. -
https://bnbmachineinc.com/shop/ols/products/650-pistol-conversion-system I started using this on my 650. Significantly shortens the stroke of the 660 without changing dies. I honestly never even gave much thought about how huge the travel is on a 650 is to complete the stroke, or why that even is until I saw this kit. All i ever load is pistol ammo, and the guys at Dillon have to make the press with the intention of allowing end users to load both rifle cartridges and pistol. Since a lot of progressive press users Only load pistol, there is a bunch of wasted motion. And the guys at BNB have figured out a way to reduce that travel tremendously. and honestly, now that Ive tried the press short stroked, i dont think i can go back. The real bonus will be for new 650 owners who haven't yet gone down the path of upgrading all the stock do dads with bearings and what not because this kit covers the majority of them. Mine was already modded so the kit replaced a few of the previous upgrades. The parts in the kit are super well machined, no sharp corners or unsightly tool marks, Just super clean well thought out parts.

Yeah I been shooting blue bullets for a while. I may just order there 125 grain and call it a day as long as I don’t have to wait forever

Just wanted to share I tried out brass monkey bullets 130 grain. I went with them because I knew they would ship right away Gun. Shadow 2 sport pistol 4.1 10 shot average was 1040 fps about 135 pf The longest I could load was 1.108. I was a able to shoot a fist sized 10 shot group at 25 yds. But I ran out of ammo to make a final decision. The dot returned way faster than my 145 grain. I’m going to shoot the rest of the 1000 before I make a final decision. I tested at 3.8, 3.9, 4, and 4.1 gr. I got a squib at 3.8. 4-4.1 seemed to be the best. Just need to test hone in accuracy a little bit more. I really liked the 4.1 with a 12 lb recoil spring.

Taking the Plunge - Few Questions/Confirmation Needed
stephenmcrna replied to anonymouscuban's topic in 9mm/38 Caliber
I just started with 147 gr blue bullets. Cz shadow 2. I found that 3.2 grain sport pistol at 1.10 worked great however my sights were coming back on target too slow with an 11 lb recoil spring. I ordered 135 grain and loaded them to 3.6 gr sport at 1.15 oal. I love this load. I was able to get my splits down from .21 average to .17-.2. To me it’s a great balance between the 147 and 124. In addition. The 135 gr gauge better and I have less problems being a new reloader.
