I dry practice my reloads often, new extensions were catching me off gaurd but It was a bad reload no matter what. And for the crouching standing tall comment, when I reload I try and keep the gun pretty close to where it's at and slightly turn the pistol for new mag insertion that way my gun and sights are already up on target. I'll watch my self and see if I can pick out what your sayin though. And thanks.

Anyone use winchester small pistol primere with a lightened firing pin/striker spring reliably.

Ok so as a test I fired shell casing with a Winchester wsp primer and it looks like the same striker I get with Federal. Are there win wsp primers OK to use for 9mm major...dont know why they wouldn't as long as they ignite

Locally we carry a s#!t ton of Winchester small pistol primers will those work with a 4 and 1/2 lb Striker spring on a Glock 9mm major

Almost always with a factory spring..not good enough. Fed cups go off 100% time with 4.5 lb spring. I need primers today

Current 9 major load is hs6 7.7 to 7.8 gr with 124gr Everglades fmj and want to switch to jhp 124 he. If I load 1.1550 with the fmj, what would the depth be with a jhp?

My local sportsman warehouse can't get their s#!t together and get primers in stock I use Federal small pistol primers says gold medal match on the box.. I like these because I run a lightened striker and the cups are soft. What would the closest substitution be?

It's a very accurate barrel for sure. Off hand at 25 yrds easily 1 in groups. I ran them through 2 different chronos same day and again yesterday. 7.0 gr 1356 fps low 1382 low. 168/171 pf. Loaded some more today at 7.0 and 7.1 and will confirm for the 3rd time. I wanna make sure I'm hitting my pf.

I empty my powder measure everytime I'm done reloading. With ball powders I get this...but no leakage anywhere else..

So check out this pic. My open glock 17 wolff captured guide rod..havent had any problems but while hand cycling I noticed the rod was hanging up a small amount so I pulled the rod and gave it a bevel and polish around the edge, doesnt hang up at all anymore but does sit like this in battery, probably nature of the beast with un captured rod..

That reload was super slow. When everything goes right I can usually pull a 1.15 reload.

Haha thanks guys. It was done at 25 feet. My reloads are usually much better then that but I had a fumble. Just switched from limited to open 2 weeks ago or so, but getting used to it pretty fast...and ya I've been knowing to dry practice.

2 different chronos tell the same story. Yes cleaning the comp is a bitch but I do once a week.

Switch to angle mount. Work up loads with 124 gr fmj load to 1.150. Hs6 in my kkm barrel and Carver 4 port (10 ports) I ended up at 7.7 to 7.8 gr and made around 173 pf. I tested up to 8.1 gr but the 7.8 load had plenty of gas to run the comp and has ran like a top. Also use a 15lb Wolff spring Silhouette loads are not finisher but 7.0 gr was right at 171 pf. No pressure signs at all.

This was my fastest time today, was 4.65 seconds shot clean...average was around 4.8 seconds shooting clean around 90% of the time.

I run an angle mount and get carbon build up so when I clean the carbon is hard to remove from the lense. So I've read hoppes 9 or gunslick foaming bore cleaner meant to remove carbon. I have the foaming bore cleaner and it works after a couple applications with a q tip then I windex it. No issues so far but is hoppes or gunslick foaming bore cleaner hard on the cmore lense?

So I read on here and see it takes much more silhouette to make major in 9mm that what it takes me. I get 171 pf with 7.0gr silhouette 124 gr Everglades FM. Col is 1.1540. Kkm barrel in Open glock17. Any thoughts??
