  1. Unfortunately all of the poppers where white and this one was placed in front of the no shoot on purpose, to get some poor forgetful shooter! My son and I even talked about it during the walk through. In the spring when the grass is brown the stage planners have been known to paint the steel brown, they're just mean that way!
  2. I forgot a popper this fall that was white in front of a white no shoot and it was below another target that I shot. They where all in plain sight!
  3. Shooting open is great but I think you need to be willing to tinker with the gun, loads and mags to get everything running right. The biggest problems I've had is with feeding/Mag issues. The mag tuning and cleaning was the biggest learning curve for me coming from shooting Glocks and never needing to clean or tune them. But there is plenty of videos from Atlas on YouTube that walks you through the whole process.
  4. When I shoot mine the dot tracks up slightly to the left and then back to the center. The dot never leaves the circle and it comes back to the same place. For me I didn't notice that it changed when I changed my grip.
  5. I'm glad your gun runs good, I did not say the CK was a bad gun and I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, I gave my opinion from my experience that the DVC run flatter for two experienced shooters that shot the guns side by side. I responded to the OP question about why I would choose one over the other, the same as you have done. If I deal with someone that blames everything except for their quality of work, then I'm going to call them out on it and maybe that will help other people decide if they would like doing business with them. When I said that I love my DVC (both of them), that was me mentioning their successes, they are great running guns. STI gets beat up on here pretty bad sometimes but I won't take offence by someone sharing their opinion of their experiences. Thanks for sharing your opinion of your gun, I'm sure the OP will take that in consideration when choosing which gun to go with.
  6. I've had good luck my Gen 2 STI mags except for one 170 that I can't seem to keep from nose diving. I even had problems with that one when it had the original base plate and spring, I how have Grams followers and TTI base plates in all of them. I plan on just buying the Gen 2 tubes next time and go with Grams followers and TTI base plates.
  7. I love my DVC open, I've shot it next to a CK and on slow mo video the DVC shot flatter for both of us. But with the experiences with the owner of CK I wouldn't recommended anyone to do business with them.
  8. You are correct, my STI DVC open when back to STI with ejection problems and they replaced the Slide Ride with a new RTS2, no more ejection problems. I really liked the RTS2 up until last week when it started to malfunction on me, luckily we got a used one that I can put on until it comes back from C-More. I'm looking forward to seeing what my sons DPP looks like when it gets here on his Chaos.
