  1. I ended up going a dedicated lynx belt for USPSA open and ELS for 3 gun with DA mag pouches on ELS forks. I just need the double alpha wide hanger to come in stock to easily move open gun from one belt to the other.
  2. I have a Double Alpha belt with double alpha-x mag pouches and alpha-x open holster setup for USPSA open. I have a safariland setup for 3gun tacops (shotgun quad loading caddies, pistol caddies that are not compatible with 2011 mags, ar-15 mag caddies, pcc caddies). I decided I want to try shooting 3gun open after buying a VR80. Only shot a couple 3 gun matches and intend to compete with my USPSA open pistol (9 major) Looks like I can get a part from DA to get my alpha-x holster on safariland belt and there are alpha-x mag caddy adapters for els or 2" belt hangers. Alternatively I can buy new caddies for AR and shotgun and put on DA belt. Questions - 1-how important is adjustability of belt when shooting 3 gun open? 2-does DA alpha x holster provide enough security for an open USPSA 2011 gun? 3-are there better mag caddies for 1.5" or 1.75" belts? 4-which upgrade route should I take? Thanks for input! Josh
  3. Chaos discontinued. 2.0 seems to be coming out according to website. Any ideas about what is changing? What should be changed?
  4. Been doing that, but annoyed as I switch between drills having to mess with changing the timer. Would also like to get splits, understand how much I am over/under par time, etc. Seems helpful if more sensitive timer would work, and coolfire system seems more than loud enough.
  5. Can't pick up coolfire dryfire at any sensitivity on pocket pro 2. Anyone have luck with more sensitive timers w/ coolfire?
  6. Oh, and can't get over how fun MPX is suppressed.
  7. I also have both. The mpx is so fun to shoot, but cleaning is more important and about 3 times more work. I don't think at my level it makes any difference to scores (A class) as long as gun runs reliably. I have had issues with reliability with JP when using Goliath mag extensions, polymer bullets, and short stroking. I think I got resolved by cleaning up mag body transition and follower. Mpx had reliability issues until I upgraded extractor. At this point both guns run.
  8. Yeah, but the legion grip module is $250..
  9. I filled up at a home brew company. $5 for a 20 oz tank. Tank going strong after a few months.
  10. And what about fogging lense? Are X5s coming without a loaded chamber indicator or is that still a request?
  11. Red box? Given low fcu pricing - are people making money buying new p320s and parting them out? If so is this due to poor sig part availability or high sig pricing? Josh
  12. A friend sent in his mpx that looked like that, sig charged him $200 diagnostic fee and sent back with no changes... Just make sure sig has said they will replace before you send in.
  13. Sig calls this normal. The gen 3 pcc version has a new cam pin design, I am wondering if this still happens on new design.
  14. I have 4 sets of pro ears for self, wife, son. Every year or so a band breaks and they send me a replacement no questions asked for free. I bought a pair of msa sordins recently and I can't believe what I was missing. Much better audio quality and increased comfort from sordins but at much more money.
  15. Don was very responsive on Facebook, less on email. With Facebook shutting him down, I would keep trying.
  16. This is data over 2 months. Started with SWMP, loaded a bunch until I was out of powder. Then I bought 115's and couldn't test SWMP with 115s. Next, I tried HS6 with both 124's and 115's and I liked the 115's, so I bought a case of those. Now I am trying my new AA7 115 loads vs the SMWP 124 loads I loaded up originally. I had fewer shots when I captured SD/ES for SWMP so I didn't consider the numbers valid. This is not as scientific as it could be, but it is what I have. Josh
  17. Here is my data (Venom Custom, 9mm, 5.4" barrel KKM, 3 port comp, 2 barrel holes): AA7 shot better groups with better return to zero. SWMP gave me unburnt granuals left over, AA7 gives me a nasty residue. SWMP powder was clumpy in container but broke up easily. I will be sticking with AA7 for now.
  18. It is a dark grey and black PVD.
  19. I just shot SWMP with my new Venom Custom with 5.4" KKM with 2 popel holes and a 3 port BE comp. Here were my results measured with my lab radar... 124 Gr MG CMJ GM200M Primers Weight Powder Velocity PF 124 9.5 1394 173 124 9.7 1417 176 124 9.9 1430 177
  20. That was the trick - 2 seconds on the dremel and my mags are dropping free with grams followers.
  21. With grams followers/spring I had issues where mag wouldn't drop free on empty. Does the grams spring and tti +1 provide a smooth magazine release?
