  1. Compensator vs site block. Some slide cuts also.
  2. Thanks. I’m very happy with it. But now I want an Erebus. But I have heard rumor of a potential Erebus style barrel that will work in the Artemis. So a swappable setup. That is the dream.
  3. I ended up with an Artemis. Got it about a month ago. Installed a thumb *thumb rest [generic]* and man the thing rocks. I can basically keep the red dot in the optic window the whole time I’m shooting. my real issue is now I have to slow down some to keep my double taps in a tighter group. But the gun just runs. It wants to fly and I need to learn to keep up. I picked up a full DAA belt setup with the flex holster. Also amazing. Nice tight fit and I can trust it won’t fall out.
  4. Sorry guess I could have added more detail. He undid it and still had the same issue. called atlas they recommended maybe the ejector or lube issue. so I didn’t know he had not lubed it since he got it. Added lube and a quick test outside and it seems to be better. Lol. So dumb. Didn’t even think to tell him to lube it. he is used to less tight tolerance guns. either way. Hopefully that fixed if.
  5. My buddy swapped out his magwell and now he is having feeding issues. I helped him put the main spring and sear back together to ensure proper seating but still not working. Here is what it is doing. While shooting it will feed just fine but it won’t eject. If trying to operate by hand it will not feed properly but does eject. When not feeding the bullet starts to go into the barrel but then sticks. Almost looks like it is not going up into the ejector fully. we have tried multiple mags. All the same issue. He does have one mag that has lock back and it used to work. Now it does not anymore. any ideas I can point him to? Thanks
  6. Yea I have been putting together a few gun go sell off. I have real fell in love with the 1911/2011 grip frame and angle.
  7. I vote for the Romeo 3 line. The xl and max are amazing. The window is larger and a better shape than the SRO.
  8. I ordered 5 140’s for my atlas as that is max for LO. But I also picked up some 170’s for fun and potential open practice.
  9. I ended up ordering a Artemis. I got to shoot an Artemis today and it was incredible. Little more flip than expected. But I am used to a comp 1911. So once I get mine and play with the thumbrest and springs I bet it will be AMAZING
  10. Very much so. My buddy actually just grabbed an ARTE off gunbroker. He didn’t want the wait. Lol. Shot his today. Makes me so excited now for mine.
  11. Yes I did. It will also come with the flats panels. Of the “zero” panels as they call them.
  12. I don’t think so. I didn’t think to ask since they had not even started my order. So I would think not
  13. Well just to update everyone. I ended up changing my order to an Artemis. The Titan looked good but after some more info and realizing the site block weight would be very nice along with the shorter slide I made the change over. Atlas was very nice and even gave me the price before the increase as I ordered originally then. So now the wait
  14. Thanks. Wonder if maybe an Artemis is the way to go over the Titan I have on order.
  15. Let me ask you. Maybe you know. Does a comp fit the Artemis. Aka is a Erebus a Artemis with a comp instead of a site block?
  16. Thanks for your input. For all I know the Titan in 9mm will be so well done I won’t even feel the need for a comp. I’m guessing I will end up buying a Erebus in the future anyway. Give me the option to play around in just about every division with those 2.
  17. They said they can add one with a barrel. The barrel will be the issue as they say it has become very rare to get in stock. I was curious if anyone had done it before. Curious on look and performance. my goal is to has a barrel with a comp for open and steel challenge. Than the Titan stock for LO. I do not know if the comp is actually needed or gonna help at all. But I’m waiting for the Titan to get made and to me. So I am researching in the downtime. thanks.
  18. Has anyone seen or have knowledge of anyone who has added a threaded barrel and a comp to an atlas Titan?
  19. I am gonna add to the sig camp. I now have 3 Romeo 3’s. 2 max’s and 1 XL. I like the xl the best frankly. But the deals on the max are hard to turn down. also the ease of battery replacement over the old style sigs and even to me the DPP is far superior and improved.
  20. Awesome looking blaster. Those slide cuts look nice. have you tried a 8lbs recoil spring? Might help the muzzle dip.
  21. Oh cool. Bigger bays could be fun. I did steel challenge there a couple years back. Was always nice. Hot sometimes with all those trees. But nice area.
  22. Oak hill I think will be on of the places I try out uspsa this year. Assuming my atlas gets here in time.
  23. Where do you shoot mainly? I usually go to south Kent or the steel challenges over by lansing. I used to live in lansing so that’s what I know. Lol
  24. Atlas gunworks recommends silicone on a mag mop after using a brush. Don’t know how often you really have to do it. I know for me doing it every stage would be insane. video here.
