  1. Thanks guys, glad I can get my hands on the +5s, I’ll probably get 2 of those and one +2. I ended up ordering a torque screwdriver from Amazon last night, figured better safe than sorry. That and the shroud will be here tomorrow. Don’t know when the grip will arrive, but I’ll post a picture once I have that. I’m really just down to magwell, basepads, weight, barrel and comp. Damn, and a trigger. Busy season is over being a bartender in FL, so that might have to wait a little. Shouldn’t have started another motorcycle build and this gun project at the same time.
  2. Was on the waiting list for when the GrayGuns laser sculpted grip modules were back in stock, just got the email. Order is placed. I love my standard X-Series grip, fits my hand like no other firearm I’ve owned or handled, I’m hoping this will be enough of an improvement to justify the $115. Also have a TRex Arms light compatible Ragnarok (standard belt loops) in the mail and a shroud for the Romeo. The holster and shroud will be here Friday. Waited on zeroing the new optic/slide until I install the shroud. Should I Amazon Prime a torque screwdriver ($60) to install the shroud or does anyone think that’s a waste and just go by feel? Now I need to order the grip weight and X-Five magwell. I know it won’t accept standard mags, any idea if it’ll take them with the Taran Tactical +2s? They seemed to have stop making the higher capacity ones.
  3. Placed an order for a Compact RX slide this morning. Plan on using that for the comp install, and keeping my X-Carry slide as is. Any reason you went with the Springer comp over the Parker Mountain Machine comp? I also noticed that the X-Five magwell and grip weight are available for purchase separately now, still deciding if I'll order those separate and add them to my Carry grip module or just buy the full X-Five grip. Purely for aesthetic reasons, I prefer the look of the PMM comp with the full size grip, but like the Springer with the shorter rail on the Carry size. I don't particularly plan on concealed carrying this gun, so I'm not worried about the slighter larger dimensions of the X-Five grip. More concerned with buying the better performing compensator and I suppose that will dictate which route I go with the grip module. Decisions, decisions. Excited to try out my first RDS on a pistol. Thanks for any input.
  4. Had my T1C holster delivered the other day and carried the 320 for the first time yesterday. Early in the day while running around doing some errands, I noticed the mag release got depressed and found the mag behind me in the car seat. Didn’t think much of it. Went out a bit later on my motorcycle for dinner. When I got home, I was missing the mag again. It’s either at the restaurant, the gas station or in the middle of the road somewhere. I assume my backpack must’ve pressed it into me and released the mag again. Sucks it happened the first time carrying the gun. I feel like a bad gun owner. And a $70 mistake for a new mag and carry ammo.
  5. Alright, so I returned the X300U-A and have the B on the way. Glad that one will lock on securely. Sucks it’s $60 more. I still need to order a holster, I don’t particularly plan on carrying the gun often. I usually just carry my G26. But with winter coming, I can probably conceal it under a leather motorcycle jacket. Probably gonna go with the Tier 1 Agis. I haven’t done the barrel swap and comp yet, but that will be next. If I choose the threaded barrel option, will the comp clear the holster? I know you had one custom made to shield the comp, what did you ask for and how much extra was it? Also, they recommend the rounds face the gun, that seems counter intuitive to me, seems like I’d have to rotate the mag in my hand to reload. What extension did you choose, the TT +5 is right between their +4 and +6 option. I think I’m going to run without the Romeo for awhile. Just for consistency across all my firearms. I’ve never used a red dot on a pistol. Maybe one day, but I’m not even gonna worry about having the holster made to accommodate the sight. Also still need to order an X-Five module for the weight and magwell. And two +5s and one +2 mag extension. Still have a lot to do, but I’m just going to place a massive ~$1000 order for everything at once. So far the gun has been fantastic stock, fits my hand like nothing else I’ve handled. Can’t wait to see how it performs with all the mods. I know you prefer the compact grip module, I haven’t tried one, but I can’t imagine anything quite as perfect, for me, as the X Series grip.
  6. I recently got an X300U-A for my X-Carry. Installed the picatinny plate, it audibly clicks into place, but has some play in all directions. Is this normal? I took it to the range the other day and it stayed locked on, but I feel it should mount more solid. I called SureFire and they’re sending me new rails and plates, just in case it’s a problem with the light. If that doesn’t work, should I return it and try the B model? Thanks for any info.
