Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Taccom has a 5.25" with a shroud to make it 16". That would probably be the lightest. I have their 14.5" pinned extreme feed ramp upper with a 13" carbon fiber handguard and it is extremely light so I can't imagine what their ULW (ultra lightweight) 5.25" with the shroud feels like. 2. Yep, I can still lock it back manually. Here's a picture of how it looks where I cut the lrbho off with the bolt catch up and down. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  3. Went pretty smoothly chopping the lrbho off today. Shooting it all tomorrow for the break in! Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  4. I'm assuming once you cut it in half the bottom part doesn't come out? Spent an hour or so trying to break the screw loose in the bolt catch tonight. Seems like the cutting will happen tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  5. I think I'd rather cut the lrbho than cut into this beautiful new barrel! Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  6. Yikes. That does not sound fun! Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  7. Does it pull straight out on the billet lower as well? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  8. Sounds like I'll be in the same boat when I get home tonight. Just picked up my FM billet lower from the FFL. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  9. I'm curious as the the findings also. Just got my 14.5" extreme feed complete upper and the FM billet lower will be in tomorrow. I chose to go Blitzkrieg HD Buffer and both recommended springs to find out which works best. Hiperfire 24c trigger will be on the way shortly. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  10. I'm using Remington R1 mags with Taylor Freelance basepads and I just switched to DAA followers and springs and I noticed the very last round will not load. It does this with my stock mag also. Anyone else had this issue? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  11. What do you mean by sloppy? I've just been running 20 in the mags for the last 2 matches. It isn't ideal but it's been fine.
  12. I'll look at the followers more closely. I wasn't sure if it was a problem with the insert or with the stock spring or with the stock follower. I've heard of people using grams springs and a different follower but I'm not sure if I should try DAA followers or Arredondo or something else.
  13. I'm running RP9 (Remington) mags with Taylor Freelance extensions on my RIA. It seems like the follower gets stuck at the bottom of the magazine when filled to 22 round capacity. The basepads came with the Arrendondo inserts (which I thought was to prevent this) but I'm not sure what needs to be corrected to allow 22 rounds. They fit, they don't feed. 20 rounds are perfectly fine (from what I've seen so far). Any others having these issues?
