great info thank you! I don't intend to swage at all, but ream with Vince's reamer that I currently use on the RL1050 (will need some parts from him to make the transition I guess).
I have access to a hydraulic press, so hammering isn't necessary lol. But really, I won't need multiple toolheads for the CP as I'll be able to one pass process with the reamer on the other side, Station 2 (normally decapping) debris sense, 3 decap (normally swage), 4 another sensor for checking for stepped cases, 5 sizing maybe, 6 empty, 7 ream, 8 empty. I need the spare toolhead right now so I can run the debris sense die and case check die on their own, before risking decap pins on unknown brass (I do this for other people's brass). But that adds another step, and time, to the whole process. I occasionally will do the debris check on the Revo, but hate swapping toolheads on it just for that. That's my loading machine.

FYI, I was one of the testers for the reamer. On the CP, to run it in the 2nd swage station, I had to modify the case feeder supports and output bin bracket due to the sensor housing not clearing in there. I’ve since reverted back to doing it in the first station so I can’t take pics

  2. You should be ok. I would load up maybe 10, take them to the range, shoot controlled (not competition), and inspect the cases after. I’ve over tumbled brass and shot major out of them with no problems. I think the worry is if they were sitting in the lemishine for over a day. Then deterioration may happen.

  3. Definitely sounds like primer drawback or the die is not set properly. When using the RCBS, try adjusting the pin further down. You can’t do that on the Dillon die. Also, try cutting a 45 degree angle on the tip then smooth up the edges. This has worked for me in the past. If you wanted to switch to a universal decapper, look into the FW Arms popper die. It’s the best out there and you will never have drawback issues again

  4. As most said, you need to mash that sizing die into the shell plate. Some also mentioned shaving the die. I’ve done that method and it works great. However, if you go that route, make sure you are taking measurements when you set it up. If you take too much off the die, and set it up like a normal sizing die, you can over size the brass

  5. I’ve tried a few different ear pro options. Sure fires, 3M’s, custom molds, etc. I got the Otto’s last year abs wish I did it sooner. They are, in my opinion, the best out there. Small footprint, 2 levels of dB reduction, and the charging system is similar to AirPods (charge the case and the case charges the ear pro). Higher price tag then most but I bought once and won’t look back.

  6. I run a Steadfast setup. Unfortunately, he’s only really on Facebook but he does great work. Pricing was decent too. I got the holster and 3 mag pouches (no attachments on anything) for just under $150
