Entirely Crimson bushing for RF100
srrch replied to tha1000's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
The EC bushing is great. Now Im even more pissed because Ive had the RF 100 for over 10 years and couldnt get it to work reliably. Shame in Dillon for not resolving this issue. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk -
Entirely Crimson bushing for RF100
srrch replied to tha1000's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
I stopped using my RF 100 because I couldn't get it to work properly. This EC bushing has worked perfectly with federal SPPs. No Flipped primers. Winchester LPPs would still stick a little, however, I didnt work on the adjustments for that very much. So it may work with a little tweaking. This tool made the RF 100 usable for me. No amount of fidgeting with the Dillon stock components has given me the results that EC bushing has. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk -
DAA Primafill - Interesting New Option
srrch replied to cjmill87's topic in non-Dillon Reloading Equipment
I'll try this. I have a vibra prime, and i cant get it to work with any primers. The high or slightly out of spec primers get stuck. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk -
I find it hard to believe that you are complaining about having to pay for return shipping on a product that you used for 3 months. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

The primer pocket probe is a must have. The berdan pocket probe is good, however the primer pocket probe is a catch all. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk -
Look at getting an Anmobot if you are thinking about automating an RL 1100. Ammobot has a machine specifically designed for the RL 1100. Their machines work well, they have a ton of features, customer service is great, and it's less expensive than the Mark 7 1050 autodrive. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

I wouldn't hold your breath on a Mark 7 conversion/adaptor for a Dillon RL 1100. The two companies are in direct competition with one another. On the other hand Ammobot has been working with Dillon on the RL 1100 and CP 2000 for close to a year prior to its recent release. Ammobot already had their products ready when the RL1100 and CP 2000 were released. IMO, I'd either go with an Ammobot for the 1100, or go straight Mark 7with the Evo or Revo Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Wow I'm surprised that they dont have a product that works with the 1100. On the other hand I can see why Lyman wouldn't want to invest in products that directly support their competition. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

When did you decide it was time to move to Mark7/Ammobot?
srrch replied to Chris777's topic in non-Dillon Reloading Equipment
I've been running a 1050 with an Ammobot Rev 3 for several years. It was the best decision that I've made. IMO it is the most cost effective and feature rich automation for the 1050/1100. Customer service is excellent, and it works as designed. I've heard that Ammobot is coming out with a primer feeder. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk -
Tanfoglio Elite Stock 3, 10mm for CC and IDPA
srrch replied to WILDBILL-1's topic in Tanfoglio (EAA / IFG)
The Tanfo Stock III is too heavy for IDPA. It is over 43 oz with an empty mag. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk -
I use the 12s without incident in my Tanfos using federal primers. Large and small pistol Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Dillon press purchase progression
srrch replied to Intheshaw1's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
I loaded on a 550b for 20 years. It is a great machine. I had all the bells and whistles including a case feeder. I was just shooting more ammo than I could easily produce. I purchased a used 1050, so I never had a warranty. I'm happy that purchased it. The lack of a warranty isn't a concern to me. My advice is to purchase a 1050. Learn how to operate it, and get it running smoothly. Then automate in the future, if you want to load ammo more easily. IMO, the Ammobot is the best reloading 1050 automation tool on the market. I've been running an Ammbot several years. I started with the Rev 2 but I have the Rev 3 now. I'm extremely happy with my decision to buy the Ammobot. The Ammobot is the best deal on the market. It is a high quality product and it works as advertised; no exceptions. Customer service and support is top notch. I'd jump on that 20% asap. Also get the primer pocket probe. You won't regret your purchase. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk -

Coolfire trainer for Lim Pro or Stock II 9mm?
srrch replied to 1eyedfatman's topic in Tanfoglio (EAA / IFG)
I called the company and asked them the same question. They indicated that the Match should work for the LimPro Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk -
I thought about the all steel compact, or maybe even the pavona. However, the barrell length is 3.5 inches as opposed to the 4.1 of a glock 19 or M&P 2.0 compact. That is a big enough difference to not consider them for CCP. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I shoot Tanfoglio pistols in IDPA and USPSA. Id like to see a pistol that I could compete with in the IDPA CCP (compact carry pistol) division. This division is specifically for Glock 19 sized pistols. Some of the specifications are: 4 3/8 inch barrell length limit. 38.00 weight limit with the heaviest unloaded mag. Must fit in the box measuring 7 ¾” x 5 3/8” x 1 3/8”. The gun can be single action. Cone shapes barrels are allowed. I'd prefer that it utilizes large frame magazines. But small frame mags will do. Come on Tanfoglio, make this happen. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

You will be satisfied with the Ammobot. The latest version is the Rev 3. I run a Rev 3 and enjoy the machine. It works as advertised and there are a lot of upgrades and sensors available depending on how and what you are reloading. Customer service is excellent. Buy with confidence.
