I've read from a few people that the minus connector in the gen 5 glocks makes them feel "mushy". I haven't tried myself so I am curious your thoughts. Since you are running it, can you give me an idea of the overall feel? Thanks.

I noticed Johnny sells this connector as a separate part on his site: Has anyone tried just the connector alone? It's not expensive so I will probably buy one just to see, but I figured I would ask if there are opinions on it as a stand-alone addition on a gen 5.

So the SS 8-shot is 4 ounces heavier than the titanium?

Just soliciting comments from those with experience about the degree to which the lighter titanium cylinders impact how much a revolver's action can be tuned/improved.

If you run one, is the impact of a compensator substantially more than the rail weight? Or vise-versa? Or approximately equal?

Just curious, for a well made compensator vs a frame weight from Toni or SJC (for example) on a 9mm, which is going to have the more noticeable reduction of muzzle flip?

Hope this is approximately the right forum for this question. Considered the gunsmithing forum but I suspected it fit here. I want to mess around a bit with a tungsten GR for a 4" Wilson Combat 9mm and play with impact on follow-up shots, spring requirements, impact to reliability, etc. I understand wilson doesn't make these anymore but the wilson guy I talked to suggested a kimber of the same length would drop in. Does that sound right? Any fitting required or gunsmithing to make that work? I am so far completely unable to find commander-length tungsten GRs for Kimber OR Wilson, but that's a different story.
