Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Just what makes the 1050 faster than a 650?? Does it justify the extra cost?
  2. Yes, from what I have read, a lead buildup in the barrel increases the pressure.
  3. Anybody use one of those shell plate bearings? I saw one on E Bay-it's a Torrington bearing, like those used in car transmissions-goes under the shell plate to eliminate snapping of the shell holder when the silver ball hits the hole.
  4. I used the exact same setup-old rod and clip with newer powder measure. UNTIL , I lost the old rod. I went down to Home Depot and bought a 3 foot length of 1/8 or 3/16 inch rod-more than I needed-rethreaded the lower 3 inches, heated and put the double 90 degree bends in it. Work great with the old measure.
  5. Can anybody tell me if anyone makes an aftermarket barrel for an HK USP in 45 ACP with standard rifling? These polygonal barrels are forcing me to use plated or jacketed bullets and I have slug of lead SWCs. Thanks in advance.
  6. has not set their status

  7. I found that standing up does work. Also, a guy at a gun show told me to reinforce the reloading bench by placing a 2 x 4 under the lip of the bench, so it does not "give" as much.
