I've been searching for the EAA Witness 999230 (steel compact 10mm pistol) online for about a week now and haven't found any vendor that has them in stock. There are plenty of the polymer compacts available, but that just isn't what i want. To me, the 999230 is the perfect CCW. I don't have to compromise power or capacity, with it's 14 rounds of 10mm, and I'm a bigger guy so I don't mind the extra weight of the steel. I actually prefer it so that the gun will last for my grandchildren to use after me.
So the question is: Where can I get one? If I can't purchase one, why not? I'm praying they aren't discontinuing the model.
