Flex, I also shoot to the left with my XD. You made reference to where my trigger finger engages the trigger. I printed off a target that shows different hand variables in relation to where the bullet hits. On the left side and where I am grouping it states "too little trigger finger". I presently shoot with my finger resting on the trigger approx at the first joint. I have tried to shoot with just the pad but had same results. Any ideas?
I must have read it wrong in the advertisement as being an ICE; regardless, it's huge and the mag slides easily; I am very pleased with the entire gun; looking forward to an extended range time later this week; I'll include some pics.
You've got a good point. The industry can advertise all they want, but the people speak out for the products in the end. This site and others like it are such a great value; the knowledge learned here is second to none.
Thanks to all for all your input over the past few months in regards to the "which gun" question. I took delivery of my new Para SX1640J this week and only had a few minutes with it today at the range and was very impressed with the 50 rounds put down on paper. Taking it easy at the 7 yard mark I was able to put 7 out of 10 in the x ring. I love the feel of this gun; the magwell seems to put my hands where they should be every time. Again, thanks to all for all the replies to previous posts and endless questions of a knowledge hungry shooter.
I've narrowed my search down to a double stack .40 . Now, should it be the new Para SX1640J, yes, I know, it's brand new and haven't found anybody with one yet, OR an STI Edge. .40 ?????Gimme your 2 cents worth. Thanks.
