Armory craft sells the rods in a kit: https://www.armorycraft.com/product-page/tungsten-weight-kit-wilson-combat-p320-grip-modules

Try Primary Machine. They do great work and mill a lot of CZ. http://primarymachine.com/

I was actually wondering about that today as I saw this post. There is a company that makes the tungsten rods for the Wilson grip. That would be a sweet setup. It’s really too bad that don’t allow it.

Anyone know why sti is getting rid of their open guns?
rojo1911 replied to nikdanja's topic in Open Pistols
I heard this was the case... Also, my experience with ordering magazines was atrocious. It took them 3 months to get them to me and no one was answering emails or calls. -
It may not matter to you, but I shoot a Titan just in case I decide to shoot an IPSC match. I wish that PT would come out with a magwell that would go on the evo and work with IPSC though.

Is the Universal Shooting Academy holster the same as the Everglades holster?
-
Remember to take your time at the "Make Ready" command and take your time at the "If you are finished, show clear. If clear, hammer (striker) down and holster" command. Don't take all day, but concentrate on what you are doing, where the gun is pointed, etc. You tend to have a lot of adrenaline flowing at these times, and it helps to tell yourself to take it slow. You will have a great time, competitive shooters are some of the nicest people I know. Good luck and stay safe.

I have one Titan I currently shoot and one more on they way. My current Titan shoots factory ammo with problems.

I was ok accuracy wise just standing and shooting a stationary target, but I was horrible shooting while transitioning to multiple targets and moving and shooting. It will all start to click the more you practice and the more local matches you go to.

I would go back. No one can control the weather. Cancellation is a risk you take when signing up and paying for a match far in advance. The best way to mitigate that risk is booking a hotel room with a good cancellation policy and buying a refundable plane ticket. Sometimes even that won't save you if an unforeseeable event happens the day/night before or the day of.

How many clubs/ranges are you a member of?
rojo1911 replied to CTJer's topic in Miscellaneous BEginners
I belong to one range, about 20 minutes away. I belong to one club at a different range, and it is about 45 minutes away. -
We have a live fire training session just for USPSA every Tuesday. We have a local match at least every other weekend. I typically dry fire 3-4 days a week for about 20-30 minutes.

I have had 2 Atlas pistols, and like everyone has said here, the customer service is second to none. I just ordered a backup for my current Titan (although the current one has yet to breakdown in the year I've had it. Brazos makes a nice gun, but mine didn't have metal grip and that made a big difference in my opinion.

I started USPSA last year shooting single stack and I love it. I recently got into limited, but I have 2 SS guns and both are .45. I will shoot SS in locals, but I don't go to major match with it.

Best 1911 Steel Open Base Gun? Springfield, Colt, Ruger, RIA?
rojo1911 replied to ezra650's topic in Open Pistols
I am having a Sig Max Michel 9MM 1911 steel gun built. Getting some custom work done with the fit and trigger, then I am going to put the Sig Romeo Max 3 red dot when it comes out. -
Bullet Feeder or Powder Check? 650
rojo1911 replied to IrishPsych's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
No question the biller feeder will help you load faster. Listen to Sarge, get the light kit and pay attention when loading. You definitely won’t regret it. -
United Airlines - Any fees for checked guns?
rojo1911 replied to MikeyScuba's topic in Travel, Locations, Ranges, etc.
With the direction the libtards are trying to steer the country, I can imagine at some point airlines will start making it increasingly more difficult to fly with checked weapons and may start wanting to charge hoping that will deter us. -
I think this may be what you are looking for: https://www.ebay.com/itm/KLEEN-BORE-MAGSWAB-MAGBRUSH-CLEANING-MAG-WELL-MAG208-MAG202-9MM-10MM-38-40-45/152622718289?hash=item238905dd51:m:mt8TIs6JuTy5skubgWgvbZg Midway and Brownell's use to carry them, but someone bought the company and stopped making them. I ordered a few of them recently from the seller above on eBay.

I have only had the checked baggage fee, but no additional charges just because it is a weapon. -
I think that one does have a sightblock

Wow.... Eye opening to say the least. Thanks for the link, always a good reminder why we take the rules and safety so seriously.

I run PT Evos on my 2011s, but I was able to handle a Lone Star Innovations gun when they were at the last match I attended. Its really nice and I am going to try it on the next gun I get.

Put a light on it and tell the RO you need it to see the targets better... lol

I have all mine pinned... I didn't hear about that fatality, that is scary
