Until this very moment, I was unaware that the Springfield XD MOD 2 4" was not legal for IDPA competitions. Seems like I may need to buy another pistol if I plan to compete in IDPA.

Hello all, I'm stoked that I found these forums. I just got into competition shooting about a year ago, and I have only shot six or seven USPSA matches and I'm really looking forward to learning a lot from the people on here. The pistol that I use for competitions is a Springfield XD MOD 2, 4-inch barrel. I'm a huge 1911 fan and an AR guy. As I said, I shot six or seven USPSA matches but what I really want to get into is 3 Gun.
