Hi! Its me again. I didn't find any place to post a product review So I figured I would post it in my thread.I received Mr.Enos's slide glide today. And wow!Wow!!WOW!!!
I was hesitant at first but it blended well with my suntan oil . My suntan oil doesn't wash off in water now. Much impressed. What really impressed me was how well it works on Handguns!. I put a collage together with a parts diagram so you can see what my vision and intent was.
As you can see a good take apart starts with a well described blueprint. I didnt find one on the internet so I made my own. This is important! So after finding a few screwdrivers and a carpenter hammer I finally got the cowboy gun apart. Next was the sig320 my dad gave me. It was easy as it had no screws. Just an annoying lever thats always under my left thumb when I go to make pew pew.
This stuff has magical properties I will describe why and how at the end of this report. I followed the directions and used the heavy on the Siggy. I feels much smoother and very slick on firing way much improvement.
For the silver one I used the light compound and it was a night and day difference. Prior to using the Slide Glide(TM) it was a rough 5lbs on pulling the Fun Lever. By adding a light coat to the work bits. See Picture below I was able to get it to 4pounds and 5 ounces.
My next problem area was the blurry thing
As you can see here before the slide glide it was blurry.
After the Slide Glide it was not blurry
The final problem area to address was the handle hold-on part. It was always squishing around in my hands. After applying Slide Glide light to it The Magic was complete!!
After a liberal coating the handle became sufficently stickyfied to no longer squash or squirt around.
In summation
The worky bits are slicker
the Fun Lever is easier to pull
The blurry thing is now shiny and not so blurry
the handle is grippy
It has properties similar to dykem By using the Slide Glide I can now see that the whackathumper needs a .002 shim on the spinnymaker eject button side.
With all of these problem areas taken care of I can sense 10 percent buff to accuracy. This stuff is fantastic and being that it is from Arizona I am pretty sure that Mr.Enos has managed to capture a Unicorn who makes this stuff for him. That is the magic. If you do not have some Slide Glide (Light,Medium,Heavy) then you are missing out on the greatest invention in the history of the universe.
