  1. Not to snipe you, but this very thing happened at Area 5 last year AND was caught on video.
  2. I'm familiar with Everglades and Atlanta Arms' 9mm major offerings, but don't see 9 major on Supervel's website. Do you have a link?
  3. I just picked up a Q4 SF and am really digging it. If Walther ends up making a steel frame PDP I might just get one of those as well!
  4. Are you guys using Atlas 170mm mags loading them up and letting them sit to set the spring?
  5. We get that you’re proud of your new Glock but you really don’t need to spam it everywhere.
  6. What screws do you guys use? I stripped the head on one and need to order a few
  7. Wow, this is the exact problem I was having. Have an XL that’s been sitting around for about 4 months, then when I shot it in a match the dot would flicker on and off about every 2-3 shots. I’ll try wiping off the internal contacts and see if that fixes the issue
  8. Hey there! I recently put the 6 moa Alpha 3 on my open gun as my backup optic, and realized that I misplaced the scope cover. Where can I buy another one? I don’t see them on your site
  9. As someone who owns both, I can tell you that the Alpha3 buttons are way better
  10. Are you feeling some vindication after the new IDPA rules dropped?
  11. I can't tell you how many people were asking "Hey, is BEnos still down?"
  12. It’s been hard for this last week without BEnos
  13. I usually shoot it at the end of my session. It has been very useful to helping me fix grip and recoil control
  14. I've gotten a lot of value recently out of the Garcia dot drill. I think that it teaches recoil management a bit better than the Bill Drill because it doesn't allow for as much slop. You don't necessarily have to lay rounds right on top of each other (although it's great if you do), but you still have to have a good consistent grip to get all shots within the 2" circle, especially when you move out to 5 yards or more. It's also great because you can make an entire training session out of just 36 rounds Although the link specifies 7 yards, I wouldn't start out there at first. Start at 3 yards, and move back by 1 yard when you start clearing the six dots consistently.
  15. Can you still use the 9mm casefeeder and plunger for SC?
  16. DAMN! That is a LOT of practice. How do you structure that during the day? Do you do it all in one big chunk or several smaller sessions?
  17. Two days of standing in the sun and resetting a lot of steel was not very fun. I was happy to volunteer and make sure that things stayed running on time, but ultimately it wasn't worth it This is a good point that I hadn't considered.
  18. My local club is hosting a CRO seminar in a few months. I have been an RO for a little over 2 years now, and I've come to recognize some of the competition benefits that come from really knowing the rule book. Most of that being "knowing what you can get away with" and "knowing when to argue for a call". I was also able to act as a stage RO for a level 2 match, which I probably won't do again. That being said, I'm not an MD nor do I really have any interest in performing those kinds of functions. However, I do like to help with stage design from time to time. Knowing that, is there really any benefit for your average serious competitor?
  19. Thanks for the writeup. However, I'm curious which tests correspond to which image? I can't seem to open the Imgur links
  20. Nobody really knows. CZUSA/DW have been really mum about the DWX since 2020. It’s too bad because a lot of people were really hyped about it.
  21. No insult to the poster, but reading this statement in 2022 is absolutely hilarious
  22. The 9mm major barrel doesn't hold a group as well as my other open gun, but it's the difference of like 1/3rd of an inch at 15 yards. The supercomp barrel is just as accurate as my friend's Akai with the same ammo.
