i'll be your 2nd customer on a magwell when they get ready

So I built an AR-V from the receiver set. Using the lightweight stainless PSA 16" barrel. It has been malfunction free since day 1. I installed a regular flat CMC trigger in it and put a holosun 510 on top. I've got right at 1,000 rounds through it so far. I have right at $1200 in it with the dot and trigger. I'm very happy with it so far. Notes: -The throat length was pretty short on the barrel but PSA agreed to fix it for free and paid shipping both ways. Took less than a week to get it back. -The bolt catch doesn't hold the bolt back securely enough. You can bump the gun with your hand and the bolt will go forward. Not an issue in USPSA but can be a bummer in IDPA if you are expecting to hit the bolt release but then release you need to rack the charging handle. -The mags are great. I haven't had to clean them yet and they are dirt cheap. I have 5 of the PSA mags and i have had to do some light sanding to get them to all drop free(empty). They all dropped free with ammo in them. Magpul mags and factory mags have all been flawless as well. I've been running a heavy AR9 buffer and standard carbine spring but will be installing a blitzkrieg buffer and trying that later today.

don't notice an issue with mine while shooting. Love my 510c

I know this is old but from my 5" 1911 with a 200gr summers Hi-tek coated 5.0gr 231=720fps 5.6gr 231=800fps

I would think you would get severe leading at .355. Maybe your barrel is tight though and it won't be a problem. I would slug the barrel first.....or ream the chamber and be done with it.

Anyone that runs this magwell, Can you get away with the wilson ETM basepads? or would I need to get the dawson basepads too?

a little over 15k on mine. Still original springs. cleaned around 8-10k rounds. Zero issues

thats kinda where i am. 84.3% in CO and just had a kid 4 weeks ago. I did manage to get MA in IDPA CO first time i tried. That's my experience as well. I usually have the fastest raw time at my local matches but all the dang procedurals add up! Usually anytime us USPSA guys show up to an IDPA match, we walk away with them....usually

Never had an issue with my Romeo 1 or Romeo 1 pro. not an issue with my DPP either. Over a year with the original battery too

If you think this mod will improve your game, you should practice more. The legion doesn’t slow your transitions down or recoil any slower than anything else with the proper spring.

The grip module itself is NOT ssp legal. Confirmed that with IDPA today

Got confirmation via email from my area coordinator that the grip module is indeed legal for ESP and CO. not SSP

That’s the Wilson Combat pistol that’s been approved. I’m only wanting the grip module. the pistol is approved in USPSA but they have said the Grip module is illegal. Makes no sense.

It looks like it’s perfect. If these wind up not being legal, I’ll order a small X-carry module. I emailed IDPA. We shall see what they say

Currently shooting a X5 legion in carry optics and I can’t reach the mag release without a paddle mag release(not legal for IDPA) the WC grip modules are slightly smaller than the Sig modules and I think I can reach the mag release. are they legal for IDPA?

you can take out the piece that holds the backstrap in and just glue the backstrap you like on. Did that to my bosses gun.

The whole shooting jacketed bullets through your barrel to clean out the lead 100% doesn’t work. I’ve tried it 10 different times with 10 different firearms and had the same result with all of them.

I decided to try some Brazos bullets last year. They leaded every gun I own. I think they were too soft. Might be a bad batch of the DG bullets.
