  1. Hi all, just an FYI, Our pistol sizing dies are Full Length. it’s best to lightly spray a lube on your cases to eliminate any brass filings from getting caught between the case and bore and smearing when sizing dry. Unfortunately not all today’s pistol brass is chamfered. you can use which ever lube you prefer. We recommend PEG75 because it doesn’t require being wiped away. It’s not greasy. Feel free to contact us if you would like to know more about spec sizing and loading to spec. In keeping, undersize dies are a .125 ring, Mighty Armory Dies are at saami spec. They are .630 in length. If you choose to chamfer your cases you can dry size 100%. Wayne
  2. Hey all, Just an update. Some of the brass out there have very jaggered mouth edges. On the squeeze down when sizing filings break away and get stuck on the bore wall. This can cause some case scratching. The die can be polished clean using scotch brite on a 223 bore brush, however, we have found a solution. If you own a Mighty Armory pistol sizing die and have experienced this, get in touch with us. wayne@mightyarmory.com We're going to coat your die with our new finish proccess. The surface finish with be 82 Rockwell and extremely slick. This process has eliminated filings from sticking. All we ask is that you help us out a little with cost. Get in touch. We want you to be happy with your dies. Sincerely Wayne

  4. Hello All, Here’s a bit of info for those that have had set back bullets. When you flare/expand measure you case inside dimension. It should be .348-.349. That allows for .006 tension for seating and holding. Use a taper crimp die and finish the mouth diameter to .376-.378. Push back problem solved. FYI; Flaring to the same spec for undersized cases is way to much for spec sizing. Think about it, if a case is undersized you have to open the top to an extreme for a bullet to set and seat. Just raise your flare die! If you’d like to discuss give me a call. Wayne
  5. I bought the Dawson wedge. Mag well descriptions were unclear, I’ll have the stock one milled.
  6. Does anyone know which magwell is notched for the Dawson Blue Steel wedge mainspring housing. Want to add to my DVC L. Thx
  7. I’d buy if they offered poly. I’m not at all interested in aluminum or stainless steel. to cold, to hot vs poly.
  8. The more the die is use the smoother the bore will become. Polish in a dry media works well too. Dry carbon covered brass will cause friction and heat. Not a good idea to size brass in that condition with any die. Contact me if you like..
  9. They'll load undersized but they won't be as good as they should be. I'd be glad to send you the new TNT die, give it a try. Post a review.
  10. Try using Peg75 lanolin. It's a synthetic water based lanolin. Wipes off easy and quick in corn media. Or leave it, It's not greasy. mix it 12:1 with 99% alcohol for pistol and 8:1 for rifle. Wipe or corn tumble it away when used on rifle brass. www.floridasunshineproducts.com
  11. Ok so you prefer .015-.025 bullet tension. Proper bullet tension is definitely about sizing as long as you don't over flare you're good to go with MA. Consult saami specs. New TNT Match Die is a breeze..
  12. You wont beat our dies.. We have taken Dies to another level. The new TNT is outstanding and Super Duty Decapping die design is coming very soon, it's all steel with unique features, designed specifically for autos. No question it's the best the industry has ever seen. Our Flare/Expander is glass. Test flare dies have over 300,000 cycles along with our universal pistol seating die, no wear. Crimps will be available soon. Any one interested in testing and posting full reviews with pics and videos?
  13. To all shooters and family... Wayne
  14. Glad your happy cool.. we appreciate you letting other loaders know about the die, Wayne Patrick Mighty Armory
  15. Try Purple Plate Busters. You can load major without concern. Haven’t had any issues with lead build up inside a comp.
  16. I only know of a few loaders that don’t Lube using carbide insert dies. They seriously stress their presses. The idea behind our dies is lube and size to spec. The dies will cycle a million sizings. keys are you can load to powder specs. Get proper burn rates and case pressures. lower SDs and more accuracy. Your pistol will be a lot cleaner after a shoot. Bullet tension is all about the flare and crimp set up and which dies your using. our flare and crimp will finally be available in less than 2 weeks. It will make it easier for the few that struggled with other brand dies to finish a perfect round. Feel free to contact MA anytime.
  17. Are you guys using our dies without lube or One Shot? The dies do require lube.. most use lanolin. The only user issue we had with our dies is when someone is sizing dry. We replaced dies for those who didn't lube. That's no longer offered. It's all in the instructions in the box and online. The dies are designed for spec sizing, much better results with your gun, on the range and will last lifetimes.
  18. The O-ring locks the cap at the desired height. The face of the cap that mate's with the shaft can be adjusted between .020-.040. .020 seems to be where most are setting the cap depth.
  19. If you want the Flicker Spring, buy the cap conversion. Feedback is 100% success.
