  1. Have one for my xcarry and love it. Partly because it’s so cool looking and partly because it’s so slick. Holds the gun fine but let’s it go easy when drawing. It’s a little far off the hip for idpa but for casual matches it’s no big deal.
  2. Good morning- I am going to start reloading 45 for IDPA and would like to start with a pound each of two powders to work with. Will be ordering 230 and 200gr bullets in an effort to find the best load for IDPA with my Sig P220. It seems Hodgdon Clays is quite popular. How about WST? Appreciate any input-
  3. I don’t want to see pcc in idpa but that response is uncalled for. Almost hard to believe a club would send such a thing. The shooting sports need to tread carefully and do all they can to bring new members in.
  4. Would be helpful if folks would post bbl length when sharing their experience with chrono. AE 147 leaves about a 50-60fps cushion in my 3.6” bbl. not sure I want to push much lower than that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. We don’t even see carry optic pistols at our club so I doubt we’ll see pcc. Which, imho, is great. No interest in it at all. Just policing the before/after handling will be a pita and it doesn’t fit with the concept of idpa. Three gun events already exist—-if a club wants to draw more people just host one of those. 6. I’m new (shoot idpa but same issues being new) and just did a state shoot. I was awful! Nerves and not shooting within myself were problems. Also struggled with more complex stages and keeping my head clear. On the stand still and shoot I was fine! Was worth doing as I got to see some very talented guys on my squad and got some helpful hints from them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Would be fun to have a joke jersey with sponsors like high point, Walmart, wolf, glock.......... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. That makes sense. I have a kydex for the 226 that I love (serpa) and the 225 does work in it but I kinda dig the leather old school style with the wood gripped sig. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks for the input guys. I’ve ordered the ramped style. Looking forward to shooting better! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Happy Sunday all- Looking for direction on which profile to get for my Sig P225a1. Gun is used in idpa shoots. Tried with the stock night sights and I’m just not picking the front sight up quickly so I’m going to try a red fiber front. Holster is a leather DeSantis Mini scabbard. Thanks, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
