  1. Nice part. The price is the not so nice part. It cost more than the Apex Flat triggers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Precision tool. Preferably a flathead. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. So far, so good. I’ve had mine for a year. The paint in the shroud has worn off but I kind of expected it. It is my daily carry. I’ve had my battery replaced twice. Once myself and Sig did it during the voluntary upgrade. I haven’t seen the finish on other RMR/red dots but I expect that they would be in similar conditions. I have a Burris FF3on my FNX.45 T and the paint is worn on the shroud of it also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Sorry. Back on track. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Nobody said it wasn’t an issue. It just wasn’t as big of an issue as people in these forums and YouTube made it out to be. The upgrade was voluntary. People had an option because in the grand scale 1 possible out of 500+k isn’t cause to have to check your panties. And as far as the light primer strikes is concerned you act like WWB is the gold standard of ammo. Not sure about the other ammo you mentioned but I use WWB all of the time because it’s the cheapest thing at Walmart and their range boxes I’ve found at least four bad rounds with bad primers in most boxes. I usually take a couple of DA/SA pistols with me. If I get some rounds with light primers with the striker fired guns I will run them through DA/SA pistols. Do you think that you can verify bad rounds that way? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I called you a jackass because you used it as a descriptor of what you didn’t want to be but you were acting like one anyway. No worries though. And the verdict is still out on the Connecticut cop. We had a cop do something similar here. The PD decided to make M&P .40s the standard but hadn’t standardized on the holster. One officer decided to use his old holster. Apparently, before the officer’s were able to purchase and carry their own weapons and his personal gun was close to the M&P as far as fitting in his old holster. Well except for one important thing. The holster didn’t completely cover the trigger. Well, he went to the gym and as he was changing he threw his duty belt in his locker and something got caught in the trigger well and it went off. The chief ordered holsters for everyone and the guy suspended for a month. Scared the crap out of me. I was on the other side of the lockers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I know the story. I called DPD’s PIO and talked to the officer’s the wrote their statement on the matter. No officer at DPD was shot. The equipment manager saw the first YouTube video (which has since been removed) and decided to not allow officers to carry it. When you get down to it the decision was a preemptive safety precaution. After talking to Sig Representatives he allowed the sale on the police program. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I trust them enough that I carry mine everyday. The guns have been dropped and passed standard test. 5 years out in the wild with 500k of them out in the public’s hands and until YouTube superstars repeatedly doing stupid stuff you only heard of one incident. The thing started because DPD heard a rumor and it took off from there. Not a fanboy. Just hate it when people hyperbolize. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. The problem was with the ammo. Not the gun. They were making custom ammo for the service pistol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. You forgot the important word “voluntary” which means if you haven’t had a problem and don’t think it’s a problem then you don’t have to do the upgrade. Yeah, it sounds like you’re trying to be a jackass and succeeding. Look, the gun has been in the public’s hands for what? 5 years now and it’s had one possible issue that no one can truly confirm. 11. Who and how many people got shot? Please provide information. I have yet to see any information on this. You see a lot of this in Sig Talk. Most of it is conjecture. Usually, light primer strikes are caused by bad/defective ammo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
