looks like it can be a non SV gun but it has to be a widebody configuration. that is just crazy, If 500 complete guns have been produced with a 5 inch sighttracker top end then 500 components have been produced. What possible justification can prohibit putting that top end on any dang frame I want ?

Neither is a rail mounted light,, The OP doesnt seem to be shooting sanctioned matches, Your just gonna have to take your specs websurfing, all the big names have websights. Colt, Springfield, para, Kimber, STI. I would look pretty hard at an STI product as you can order it the way you want it will either run out of the box or they will fix it. For a general game gun a doublestack STI is much more versatile.

if you get past the unsubstantiated emotion based opinions which the gun world is more than full of look at the actual numbers, 38 special is a very low powered round especially when fired from a snubby, alot of factory ammo wont even make minor power factor in service revolvers. Now whether this weaker round is powerful enough is up for endless debate. But until recoil is an issue more power is always better and more capacity is better. However lets compare it to another basic carry gun , a 9mm Kahr. The kahr is flatter, holds more ammo, holds more powerful ammo, can weigh the same or less depending on model, can be reloaded faster with an easier to carry reload. 38 snubbies are popular for the same reason 30/30 leveractions are popular for deer hunting. There are way better tools for the job but people simply just like them.

for USPSA, there are much better powders for the job. Unique is a mid burn rate powder, too fast for comped guns, too slow for standard barrels. Based on burn rate it would look good for max velocity loads in a game like bowling pins, but Unique is very spiky run it over a chrono and when you start getting close to max charges your SD will really open up. Unique is ok for alot, but great for nothing.

will be too long for gauge. But bolen follower plus bolen spring plus dawson pad makes a very nice rattle.

There are several stipulations to what a standard exercise is, must be Virginia count and no more than 24 rounds total with 6 rounds per string unless you have a mandatory reload. Multi string stages can really bog a match down, what would be wrong with a stage with 3 targets ar in front of a desk, some hard cover and no shoots hiding the other 6 targets, another shooting position with 3 visible targets, and a low port and wall at the bag of the stage, so shooter would do your seated unloaded start and shoot three targets, stand up and have to move to hit the other 3, then move all the way to back and shoot under a low port, does the same thing but way faster, doesnt slow down the match and doesnt force anyone to do anything. USPSA is what it is we dont need to change it into another sport. When you get wrapped around, "Forcing" this or that your not making good stages.

Correct me if I am wrong but isnt that exactly what happened ? Also in 40 caliber only? With the justification that's the only manufacturer that made complete guns like that. Then turn around and like I pointed out in my original post allow 6" para's.

Most avalable pistol caliber poll
Joe4d replied to hitman's topic in Miscellaneous Topics That Do Not Fit in Any Other Forum
I guess if we wanted to be really pedant, You'd have to say 9mm, 38/357 are rarely if ever used in pistols, and if you subtract out the .22 being used in rifles and revolvers that probably doesnt leave much left. According to Webster revolvers are not pistols, both are subsets of handguns Pistol : a handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel; -
I dont really get your question, "Zero target picture" no sight in the world is gonna be bright enough to light up the target unless there is some kinda flashlight involved.

Freedom reaper 5.66 ? what kinda marketing genius came up with that one, Just the name would make me put it back on the shelf unless I was shopping for airsoft.

Even worse is the socalled "Keyless" entry, but you have to carry around a box thats larger than a key.

Spare key price

Thats America for ya, rather than publicly hang car thieves, we mandate all kinds of expensive antitheft devices and force the non thieves to foot the bill. -
the 4mm's will require a bit of time and massaging to fit the gauge, the 3's will fit.
-
well you know mine,,,, send it back and make CZ engineer a fix. butttt any way to get a gauge and come up with some way to massage it in the gauge ?
-
9mm is tapered, the back is larger than the front, the more rounds you have between the follower and feed lips the higher or more pressure there will be on the back and the lower and less relative pressure you will have on the front. Now how that helps or not you get a cross between a rhino and a elephant,,,, "Elephino"

USPSA had to get a HHF from somewhere when the division was created, L10 was as good a place as any, Once the SS classifiers started rolling in the numbers would change, unless and thats a big unless, No singlestack shooter has ever gotten a 100% and the L10 100% are still there,

Montana Gold and USPS
Joe4d replied to Jeff686's topic in Miscellaneous Topics That Do Not Fit in Any Other Forum
You are paying to have them delivered to the house get ahold of postmaster and demand they do this or refund your money, If little ole miss tisdale cant carry the box to frikking bad, suck it up buttercup or get a new job, Individual mail carriers are trying to be lazy donot tolerate this. report em and get them to do their jobs or get fired. -
lets say montanna gold does wear barrels out faster, Gman, has put 12k rounds down his barrel and it still works great, Id say he could put another 12 before acuracy or velocity started dropping, maybe not but lets just say 24k and montanna gold has worn out the barrel, but shooting hornady's has kept it pristine good as new. hornady at current prices 24k $2856 Montanna gold, 24k, $ 1875 for a thousand dollars I can probably afford to buy a new barrel

Remington Small Pistol Primers No.1.5 vs. No.5.5

anyone know why remington primers are half size ? -
Try search, 180gr bullets and tightgroup is one of the most popular weights and powders on this websight.

I I had dropped the coin on what was supposed to be a top of the line near custom factory gun I dont think I'd be too interested in hearing how much the factory cares and would like to give me a hug, Obviously they arnt working very hard, the gun has design flaws even a novice gunsmith can see, It doesnt work with the worlds most common pistol round, and they have no idea when or if they will get around to fixing it. Selling a handful of competition guns just isnt where the money is, simple as that.

you could exchange the word dog for kid in the original post and have the same rant. we have people let there dogs run loose on the battlefield trails, my last horse was none too fond of dogs, kinda interesting seeing how much air they can catch.
