  1. This is it right here! This is the only logical conclusion you can make if following the WSB as an RO. I'm not going to get into trying to deduce engagement definitions or whatever, I'm focused on safety and shot counting. In the April 2, 2020 Question of the month response from NROI (linked in the response this month), they discussed when you would apply a procedural for failure to perform the reload and described exactly opposite what they discussed this month. I don't agree with their response this month and hope they also make a correction to clear up the confusion. Feb 2, 2023: The stage procedure for the April 2, 2020: April 2, 2020: They contradict themselves in their responses. I emailed Troy and his response was not helpful. Cheers, Toby
  2. I'd opt for a standard taper crimp die (pick you favorite brand) vs the FCD. Especially if you are loading lead/coated lead. The FCD will swage the oversized lead bullets and that can lead to accuracy or leading issues. I have a FCD but I only use it if the finished cartridge doesn't pass the case gauge and then it gets segregated for practice only. There isn't anything special about the Dillon expander funnel that creates the case flare. Any taper crimp die will remove that flare (including the FCD). Cheers, Toby

    TS 40 Feeding Issue

So I run Grams followers with CZC Springs. I kept having the CZC follower get pushed through the feed lips if I ran dry. It would get chambered causing a major jam. The Grams follower will not do this. If anyone wants the CZC followers let me know. I like the CZC springs as they are cheaper if purchased in bulk. You have to drill a small hole in the grams follower to accommodate the CZC springs but now I can run either springs if needed. Cheers, Toby
