  1. It really just feels like they have a lot of money poured intongetting influencers to push their product. I would be shocked if there was an actual tangible improvement. I know in the shooting sports we are gear crazy and some people would do anything to be "sponsored", but this product really soured my opinion of those who shilled it.
  2. That is a strange one. Hopefully no one has been granted a reshoot for sonething like that. Sounds like a millennial request.
  3. I'm not so much worried about a fast draw as I am my ability to get a grip I don't need to adjust. I also used to take too much time trying to get a perfect sight picture on the draw and this drill taught me what I needed to see to get a shot on target quicker.
  4. I had a very similar struggle until I realized I needed to shoot target focus which is the opposite of how I learned to shoot. Also, taking advice from this forum I dry fired like a mad man including many different positions to learn how to find the dot in a situation other than the draw.
  5. I like having a room for dry fire that no ammo ever enters. I have dummy rounds loaded up with a snap cap as the top round in the magazine as an extra visual indicator. I think you should leave the barrel in to get the actual feel of the gun as it would be during a match. That said I respect the extra attention to safety.
  6. Robert over at RHT says that he has one more kydex holster for the Chaos left. The only issue is that they make it to fit a nitro fin thumb rest. Does anyone know if a go gun *thumb rest [generic]* would be dimensionally similar enough to fit the holster too?
  7. I have a JP 3 port brake that seems very effective. I have been thinking of trying the JP tank brake.
  8. Never had a sparc, but I didn't have good much with another tube red dot the strikefire 2. Got rid of that one and got a venom and a razor couldn't be happier. Both work great for an AR, but if you have the money get the razor.
  9. It sounds like a good idea to me. Same capacity as the full size and slightly lighter for transitions if that actually helps. Shorter sight radius means nothing if you throw a dot on it. I'm also surprised it hasn't been mentioned before.
  10. +1 for replacing the cylinder stop spring and checking to see how worn the cylinder is itself. I bought a well used model 10 with this issue and changing the spring worked in that particular instance.
  11. Maybe I mixed mine with a different ratio than dillon, but my homemade concoction if alcohol and lanolin always seems to work better than Dillon's case lube in my 650. I shake well before use and allow enough time for the alcohol to evaporate.
  12. I would get a 1050 and throw a Mark 7 autodrive on it and call it a day. Dillon support is the best and they really support the shooting sports.

I think this is a barrel specific issue. If it works for you then keep doing it. I wouldn't put much stock into what functions in other barrels.
  14. I just use a towel, but the PT EVO grip is so aggressive I haven't found the need to get any other products to help me hang onto it.
  15. I have a 7.5 for a shotgun. I think it will work great for that purpose until I run into stupidly long slug shots. For a pistol though I think it is too large for me. I like the idea of being more precise with a handgun.
  16. For what it's worth I like the S-LM 9-13 model. I also have one of their 13.5-27 models on a quick disconnect.
  17. Jump into open and throw an offset red dot on that bad boy.
  18. My Beneli M2 always got 2.75 1250ish. Ran reliably and was very easy to control.
  19. Last time I contacted them you had to order the entire package. You couldn't just get one feature. This guy talks about his experience. http://thrumylens.org/featured/review-and-comparison-of-the-tti-benelli-m2/
  20. For my needs and application in 3 gun Harris is as much as I'll ever need. If I take up PRS I might change my mind. Think I'll get divorced if I get one more expensive hobby.
  21. Im really liking the new generation of JP handguards. The knurling on them a gripping and help me get a purchase not matter the conditions. They can also be configured in many ways.
  22. +1 for the XLR tactical ar stock. I love how completely adjustable it is and adds a little weight to the rear making it slightly more maneuverable.
  23. I dry fired an Apex extended firing pin and the pin broke after less than 500 reps. I didn't use and snap caps. While I didn't expect it to last forever that felt a little premature.
  24. There's no shame in the tactical baby stroller. I use one for 3 gun. I feel a little silly but it beats the heck out of lugging all the guns and gear around all day.
